Zonisamide and keppra fucked my body up lel, I've been status, a lot ICU. I'm 18 and parents always "you won't always have them It'll go away." Even if true my meds have and do make wanna kms I think seizures will stay tho.
@@ashleymendoza7678 yea it’s the same for me. I could wake up refreshed and energized but once I take the pill I get so tired and irritable. I hope you don’t have to take it for long. I think only a couple more weeks for me.
@@ashleymendoza7678 I was in a transportation field. So much for that after being diagnosed with Seizure-Disorder. 😆 Therefore I'm sidelined effectively awaiting a disability decision
This drug is 1400.00 a MONTH retail. It was supposed to be better. Keppra was awful for my daughter...tonight... Briviact made keppra look like a walk in the park! Fact. They do not know enough to give people hope that this will be " better".
Alex Voskian keppra gave me really bad borderline personality disorder when I was on just that , I cut back and got put on another drug also called lamictal which is pretty decent but they have changed my keppra to briviact & I feel like my BPD is coming back but I feel like briviact is the same as keppra just different names , the higher the dose the more chance you have of having anger issues
@@erinhowie4337 we found a new Neurologist. We have had a he'll of a time changing her meds to Triliptal( much like lamictal) and putting her back on low dose keppra. She suffered. Mentally, physically, emotionally... The he'll this drug put our little girl through is on going. I don't know if she will ever be the same again.
Alex Voskian oh it put me through hell & I know I’m not the same anymore. They kept drugging me up with lamictal & because I was on such a high dose I couldn’t walk properly or see it was like being sooo drunk & on illegal drugs I cut back and now I can actually function properly but I’ll never be the same & neither will my memory. But as long as I’m not having seizures that’s all I worry about
@@erinhowie4337 I'm so sorry. My daughter is only 10. I have never seen a child so beyond depressed. It was dispair. She didn't want to live anymore. I felt guilty for letting her be put on Briviact...but the Dr. Told us it would not have any negative behavioral side effects. None of the side effects of keppra. I trusted him. He worked at a Johns Hopkins children's hospital. Now I do my own research before I allow any med changes. I hope you find peace. Don't accept living like that. There has got to be a better way. There are other meds. Keep fighting the good fight. 💜
Alex Voskian I’m sorry to hear that , I feel like because she was so young they shouldn’t have given it to her , epilum is better for younger kids , I got diagnosed when I was 3 and I’ve been on it , dosent effect mood at all x
I just started taking it yesterday (11/16/2018) and I'm quite nervous. I didn't do so well with the Keppra, it made me to mean😈 hope your little one is adjusting well. Have you noticed many side effects?? that's what I'm most worried about! how does it make her feel ? I would appreciate any advice I could get . thanks and have a good day☺
