A fellet knows what she's doin'! Great job, Jessica! I particularly like the little tips and tricks, like the lock-tite, anti-seize, filling the oil filter and even the better way of pouring oil! Also, the pointer about the oil drain being magnetic, and to check for "sparkles", as Derek calls 'em! I hope that the ladies watching will get a little boost of confidence seeing you tackle these common problems and regular maintenance -type stuff. You are a natural in front of the camera, and I'm looking forward to seeing you in the shop more! Keep up the good work! :)

Well I'll be dipped! I was totally impressed with Jessica's mechanical know how! Don't know how she handled those 22 inch tires but she made it look like no big deal! Also it's apparent that she had a great instructor. You 2 make a great team.

Woman watching here! A gentleman from my church has an ancient lawn tractor that’s been sitting up since he hurt his back and had to hire out his lawn maintenance. He said I could have it! I’m going to try and see will it run, and if it doesn’t, I’ll see if I can’t get it to run! Thanks to you guys for teaching a gal to do things!

Not boring at all! Inspiring actually for a guy here who knows nothing about cars but loves watching this channel, look forward to more content like this 👍 I know more modern stuff doesn't really fit but it would be super helpful for those of us driving newer cars too

This fellers mind is just bottled. Jessica was an absolute natural! Smooth and consistent delivery, great tips and good bits of knowledge, just the right amount to help someone understand but not so much as to lose a non-car feller or fellet.

Speaking as just a guy with all due respect to Derrick, I love a Jessica appearance. An entire video? Well that's just mind bottling.

I'm not surprised that Jessica knows how to repair her vehicle given that she grew up in the same town as Derek, and likely had her father teaching her all the same things that Derek learned as a young feller. I'm also not surprised that she did a fantastic job explaining everything as she is a teacher (retired to help Derek with the channel) and it shows that she is obviously a fantastic teacher as well! Keep up the great work Jessica - you're an inspiration to everyone - most men today couldn't accomplish these tasks on their own vehicles!

Jessica, I’ve been waiting to see you do your own automotive work. I was one of the first two girls allowed to take auto shop in high school back in 1973! Just a few years ago I replaced my starter in my Jeep all by my self, a 60 y.o. woman underneath, in the cold.

She crushed it! Awesome to see her knocking out projects and she was a natural on camera. I'd definitely watch more episodes with her hosting! My wife loves the show as well, so she'll love this one!

To prevent over-pressurising the brake lines when you force back the pistons back if you take the cap off the brake fluid reservoir the fluid will have somewhere to go. Loving these videos! I have COVID at the moment and they provide a bit of distraction as I'm pretty much stuck in bed too weak to do much else!

I love watching you two’s channel. This was a great video. Im female and i try my best to do all of our vehicles repairs. I always try to encourage women to learn and try to do more for themselves on their vehicles. ❤

This is awesome! My wife just became a car fall over the last few years. I bought her a 1978 Thunderbird Diamond Jubilee for Christmas a few years back, and she loves it! This summer we will start doing some car shows. We will be married 40 years in December. The only almost divorce issue was her not putting my tilt wheel up! Now, she gets mad if I forget! Your family commitment is awesome. It’s nice to see such great parents.

Excellent video. I always helped my husband work on our 1966 Mustangs, 1988 Thunderbird, 1970 Buick Skylark and 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII. But I never was brave enough to attempt repairs or routine maintenance on my own!

This is great for all sorts of people not boring at all. all sorta of people watch. beginners, children, all ranges. this is what your channel needs. mom and children showing how you can do it yourself!. Videos like these are very helpful in another way. They provide a wealth of knowledge so that anyone who needs repairs done on their vehicle but lacks the time/tools/ability to do it themselves can go to a repair shop armed with enough information to keep from being ripped off by a shady mechanic.

This made me so happy. I have tried to show my daughter how to do everything with her car. If nothing else but to save her money, but she wanted to know anyway. It doesn't matter if you are a boy or a girl, you need to know how to deal with things that will affect you in unexpected situations. We ALL need to know how to do these things. Please continue to do videos like this. I want everyone to feel comfortable knowing they can be self sufficient. Because there is nothing that any of us can't do to help ourselves. We just need to know how. ❤
