I gave mom a creeper on her 100th birthday. She likes to change her own oil on the Jetta. She got her inspiration from your 500th video. Next year I'll get her a bright light for the crawl space so she can repipe her house. I know, I know...I'm spoiling her.

Awesome as always keep them coming I had the same thing yesterday You did this now this isn’t working I really don’t like when people come in all mad and puffy chest I live to say yes I worked on it please let me check it over if I make a mistake or did something wrong I will be the first to admit it but for some reason every body gets so mad and defensive About a month ago I did a water pump and gear case reseal (mercury outboard) 150hp customer came back and said ever since you took my lower unit off my bow lights stopped working he said as so mad when I tried to explain let me look please but explained the only thing we did in the boat was start the engine and shift gears while it was on the trailer that we stood on a ladder and never climbed in the boat Sorry for the rant keep them coming and happy wrenching

I used to get VWs from the local oil change place when the drain plug on the aluminum oil pans were stripped.

I have those same irwin hose clamp pliers you were using when doctoring up that hose. I picked em up in a small town hardware store in a pack of 2. Love em!!

Have you ever noticed that any product that is good for you, or the environment, is anything but good for your wallet? The only persons who benefit from such products are the manufacturers and government leaders. I sure do remember the VW and the hoops and hurdles you went through trying to get it to start. Hopefully the customer will give up in frustration and peddle it. Until that glorious day occurs, the shop will be responsible for every and any fault the engine develops.

Great video Jimmy. On the GM R/V body SUVs (Acadia, Traverse, etc.) use ATF in the P/S system. There's a bulletin out for the new fluid usage. Keep rowing pal. And 70 hrs is a great week. Don't do that too much cause then they'll expect it. Lol

To me the last "Real" Cadillac was the 96 Fleetwood. V8, rear drive, floats like a boat on calm water. I know it's just a fancy Caprice, but at least it still felt right.

As the VW goes, when a car is this old nobody should think that a used engine will make it new. It is very frustrating to all parties involved. That is the way old cars are.

Cadillac used to be the industry standard until gm bought the company. Now its jist another broken chevy product. Early Cadillac days though, you werent on top of the world unless you had one in your driveway. Same with Buick, Lincoln, and Chrysler.

You've let one VW cloud your opinion. Here in Northern Ireland about 70% of cars on our roads are VW or Audi. Funny how your garage is always putting engines in cars and you rag on the only one that gave you a hard time because it was the one that beat you....anyway when you're not raging on VW the rest of your videos are great.

My neighbor just bought his 16 yr old daughter a used VW SUV. I just shook my head and asked him if he was ready to be punished? What a waste. Your pocket screwdriver you used to remove the oil filter Oring has more value than a VW. Lol
