I was listening to the Bobby Bones show this morning and he played prop me up beside the jukebox in honor of Joe it put me in tears I was a teen in the 90's I grew up to Joe Diffie

So sorry to hear about Joe Diffie's passing. He was a classic. I remember his songs before I even really became interested in country music. An artist that will be missed.

I will miss him dearly. If there's a country heaven, you know they have a hell of a band there.

So so hard to believe that Joe is gone surely not forgotten. Rest in peace Joe. My sincere condolences to Joe's family. I love Joe and his music. Awesome picture of them both. Really sad day hearing the news. One of my favorite country artists of all time. His songs were so catchy and fun. Just before his death, my husband and I were singing karaoke to John Deere Green, my favorite song of his. And my husband sang, Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox. U will never be forgotten Diffie.

The very first time i heard Mr. Joe Diffie sing was this song "Ship's that dont come in", the it was was "Is It Cold In Here (or Is It Just Me)"Then it was "Prop Me Up Beside the Jukeboxs" I grew up singing these songs. Then came the song "So Help Me Girl" and that just melted my heart. And then you got songs like "John Deer Green", "Pick-up Man", It's Always Something", A Night To Remember". As time went on i learned all these songs and knew them by heart and started singing them at Kareoke. I loved singing everyone of these songs it made me feel like i was paying tribute to the man himself Mr. Joe Diffie.

Joe will be missed here at home here in Duncan oklahoma me and others he is in our hearts and his family and family here

90s country music is not forgotten. Just today, I was having a conversation about family purchasing a piece of John Deere equipment and my brain translates simple phrases like that into songs , melodies, and lyrics. With the pandemic, I had not realized he'd passed. Music lives on.

I still haven't gotten over it. What a tremendous loss. A kick right in the gut. I absolutely loved his music.

A couple of years ago when I was hauling crude oil here in Oklahoma we had an unloading terminal in Velma, OK which is Joe Diffie’s hometown. I used to see the guitar on the little sign that read “Hometown of Joe Diffie”. One of my coworkers lived in Velma and knew Joe Diffie’s grandparents. There’s a small cemetery there in town right at the curve on old Hwy 7 at Main and First St. I wonder if that will be Joe’s final resting place? I saw him in concert when I lived in California back in the 90’s. I’ll miss him. Goodbye Joe. God Bless You. 🙁
