This is actually a very important message from Mr. Diaz. Comedy and comedians are supposed to be the social gadfly of tradition, like Socrates questioning the theology and morals of his day. If we as a culture cant take a little humor, a little prodding and questioning of our beliefs and systems of justice, then there is a foundational problem in the functioning of our society. Comedy should never be censored!

It's an essential transgressive medium that points out the current absurdities of life . Fair enough everyone has thier red lines and even with comedy there's an understanding that you most likely might get offended especially the blue style comedians which is of course base humour because every human being can relate to it. It is designed to lampoon and even humiliate the so called good and the great. You put too much muzzle on it guess what it either chews through it or looses it's teeth in the process. Comedy is an Oxymoron - it's controlled chaos in an appropriate forum not a TED talk or political soap box. Humour, is an interesting word - 1 to laugh at innanities and absurdities. 2 to tolerate and endure a discomfort or annoyance with grace.
