I've seen some interviews regarding people on these court shows. It's scripted a lot. They want to make a good show. He said before that he really wanted to get into show biz and then ended up on this heavily scripted show.

Yeah spoiler alert, this isn't an actual court room. This is play pretend. It is real people with real "cases" and an educated judge. However it is not official cases, they agree to some conditions beforehand that let the TV "court" decide their fate.
TheBaconWizard not really I’m sure they don’t show all the cases she does just the interesting ones. It’s not like a judge can decide to just not take a case, that’s not how the law works.

I hadn't heard about Joey at all until I saw this video. I searched him up to find out what him and Judge Pirro were joking about during the case. From the little I've seen, Joey had an affair with a 16 year old girl called Amy Fisher, then there was an incident where Amy shot Joey's wife in the face, but claims that she didn't mean to put the trigger, and that Joey had given her the gun... Why were they joking about this? It sounds like there's a pretty serious case against Joey, and I don't understand how they're just laughing off the fact that he's a pedophile.
This was a huge case , turned into a circus by the media and this clown. He used the kid to carry out his filthy work. I've seen nothing to dispute that I've never seen nor watched this judge before but it says it all that you ,who was unaware of this media circus case ,have More ,much more respect for the ex wife who was shot etc than this judge, 👍👍👍👍🙂👍✨✨ps this was 90s ,and alot more lunacy happened later with this clown ( him ) 1 O O % AGREE WITH YOU wholeheartedly ! It seems that they were doing like a marketing for his Auto Body Shop and probably paid the Girl to go along. The judge deep down must know they are into it but she is just going along since its legal the sue charge.

It’s obvious that peaches or whatever the hell her name is was just using this as a publicity stunt for herself. Why else would she come on that show and waste everyone’s time like that unless she thought she could get some free publicity out of it. She didn’t put up any kind of defense against his claim. She didn’t deny he worked on her car. She didn’t claim he did shoddy or poor quality work. She didn’t deny she owed the money to him. She didn’t even deny she offered to have sex with him. She sat there laughing and smiling throughout the entire process like it was some kind of game to her. A total waste of everyone’s time. I’d have loved to see how judge Judy would have handled this. The plaintiff would have won his case in a matter of seconds instead of taking an entire episode.
This case was fake as hell. One, Joey is barred for life from even having a job at any auto body shop in California. He was convicted of auto insurance fraud in 2004, this program aired in 2007. Producers either didn't do their homework or they just didn't care.
