My friend, Jaime Brockman (RIP) used to hit cops ALL THE TIME. I remember he jumped off the roof of a building and landed on a cop car and cracked the cop in the jaw, breaking it and ended up in the hospital. I went to see him in the hospital and was like, “dafuq did you think you was doing?” He says, “escaping, what do you think?” They STILL let his ass out! One of the funniest moments of my life was when we was in his car at the park and we was gonna smoke a doober and I’m like, “ you got papers?” He points to the glove box and I start digging and find the papers and roll up a fatty. We smoke that fucker down and I had found this chingadera in his glove box, looked like a fucking walkie-talkie with a broken double antenna. I go, “dude, what’s this?” He’s like, “oh, this?” Takes it and ZAPS ⚡️ me on the thigh!! I couldn’t see my own face but I know damn well it was hilarious because one of the most violent men I’ve ever known who almost never laughed at anything pointed at me like, “your face!!”, and started LAUGHING so hard. I must’ve been one of the ONLY people he let get away with hitting him because I was punching the shit out of him, laughing just as hard as him because I could see my face just off his face and how funny it was to him that it was just as funny to me. Unforgettable moment.

I've punched a cop. That was a mistake. Back at the station, so many of them beat me that all I could see was a blur of shiny shoes, fists, wedding rings and could hear lots of banging. It was like the Matrix but hurt like f**k! Took me a week to recover.
I spent 6 months in a detention center. I was just raising hell from 15 to 17. Thing about it was it took so long to go to court, I knew I was going eventually and just though fuck it till my court date. By the time I went I had so many charges I got sentenced to almost a year. I was an asshole in court, didn't help. I got out after 6 months. I started reading books on the samurai, especially Hagakure. I learned about discipline and being mindful. Never been in trouble since in 20 years. Being ignorant is the problem.

I went to Borstal for headbutting a cop when I was 15, 6 month I got for that. I fucking hated it and vowed never to lose my liberty again and I stayed out of trouble & got my temper under control.

Once when I was a teenager I was sitting with friends near a grocery store, and one of my stupid friends went in got one egg and came to sit, I knew the motherfucker was up to no good, so I kept watching him, 5 minutes later, a patrol car passed by, and the idiot hit the windshield, I've never seen a cop that pissed, so they fucking started chasing us around, I went inside an internet coffee shop, removed my hat and pretended to buy something, the cop went in looking went right passed me and didn't see me, and man my heart was gonna stop, and I pissed a little in my pants.

I did a year before I was 16. Family was fucked up so I left. Learned all kinds of things out there. Everything from how to do a burglary to how to make a gun out of the toolbox shit you got laying around.

Juvy wasnt bad at all... got a felony 1 burglary charge when I was 14, shit was like overnight daycare. Waited over a year just to be sentenced, now boot camp that shit SUCKED!!!
Hudson county where joey is from isn't big at all. You can basically walk through all the town's if you wanted to. Gangs are different here. Plus all cultures fuck with each other here, not like in other states where blacks and latinos don't live in the same blocks. over here it's mixed we get along with each other no matter where u from. West New York North Bergen and Union city is kinda different from a lot of the town's I've been to in my life.
