I think it is that plus the fact that Cal sucks as He likes a certain Lifestyle and Cali really isn't it. Now he can afford to get the F-ck outta there;)
mpix00 I moved out of LA and went to Georgia. Now I live in a more luxurious and spacious condo that costs half the price of what I paid before. Also paying less than $2 for gas and the ability to own any type of firearms makes me a happy man. Fuck California and all the people who voted to destroy it.
As a LYFT driver, I hear many personal stories on a daily. People are moving back in with family. Some admit to me that they reside in their cars or even sneaking into their storage facility unit at night to sleep. The struggle is real and please do not feel any shame in these times. PLEASE KEEP YOUR FAITH ALIVE AND DO NOT FALL OFF TRACK. BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL🙏🙌💯
Yeah, he said some wise things there.... and it was clear he cares deeply about his friends! The advice was good for anyone, though; these are crazy times, and you have to be flexible and think out-of-the-box if you want to have any semblance of normalcy in your life! If that means taking a step or two back, before you can take steps forward.... then that's what you've gotta do.
@kkthxk Fortunately for Democrats, dogs don't vote; if they did, they wouldn't be electing these morons in Dem-controlled areas and cities any more than normal people would!
Joe I think will still mostly do the podcast from LA, it's actually really easy and there are not really any rules to paying taxes in Texas. If he buys a home there, changes his bank account address to his Texas home and earns and has all his income paid into that, changes his drivers license to a texas one and registers to vote from there then Texas will see him as a Resident and he will pay Taxes as one of them even if he barely is ever there and still did the Podcast from LA.
Celtic Barry you nailed it, media wise in general it’s best for joe to do the podcast in LA, but more than likely he’ll change addresses and what not to avoid commiefornia taxes
Supports UBI, universal healthcare, and bullshit leftist policies in the name of "empathy", and then moves to Texas to avoid taxes and because he read some books about the Comanche Indians...
@@monikhushalpuri I'm in Vancouver so I know what you mean..but what's the tax bracket in Plymouth? Whats the average tax you'll pay yearly?.. right now I'm paying around 40 percent up here when take all taxes into consideration..mayne even a little more.
@@MikeD-lr3ev Yeah they're not interested in dying or having permanent heart & lung damage for your brother in law to make money. I guess he will have to do the work himself
People eventually always have to pay for their wrong doings and evil.... even if its just in death at the end... There is ALWAYS a price to pay... Take it from a man who learned the hard way.
"The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam out about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout: SAVE US! And I'll look down and whisper: succa la mink!"
Austin is gentrified to hell. But yeah Joe would probably go to Austin. San Antonio or the towns around Dallas would be better tbh. Cheap land(like 6x cheaper than what he would pay in LA), good people, and the traffic isnt bad. Just wondering who he's gonna get on as guests from now on. He's going to have to expand the types of guests he has on. Then again, Joe with his 90Million in the bank wouldn't have a problem flying them out. Especially with the publicity the guests get from the show. I'm sure people would still come on even if they paid for their own flight
I'd be willing to bet Joe would buy some property out in Dripping Springs or Driftwood southwest of Austin. There is a JJ Machado school out that way, and the Onnit Academy is in south Austin. Plus the drive from out there to the Cap City Comedy club would probably be better than his drive from where he is now to the Comedy Store.
He's not ghetto now he's ghetto fabulous. Big difference. Either way America is self imploding by their own hand unfortunately no different than our country to (the UK) how these fucking idiots get voted into power and struggle to put a coherent sentence together is beyond my minor logic. But fuck it. The victor writes history lets see how it all turns out.
Yea, you know he's about to say something real when he stops calling people cocksuckas and shouting every other word. It's like that's how he is 99% of the time. The other 1% he wants to get something across that he feels is important. And he underscores it by not being bombastic.
@Kristie C Yeah, god forbid you'd want to vote for less government. Keep voting for those who want to tax you into the poor house while they make billions. You idiots will never learn.
@Kristie C I moved from CA, still have family living there. I am never voting Democrat again until they leave the 2nd amendment alone and move to the center! Their policies are all short sighted and will have drastic effects in the long run. The joke in college is that they couldn't reconcile the classical Keynesian model so they included a "kink" in the aggregate curve. Shows you how short sighted everything is!
Joey ain't lying. I actually lived in mid-city LA for a decade and moved to Atlanta two years ago. It's so much more peaceful and chill here. And WAY more affordable. My quality of life skyrocketed overnight.
Not really. Trust me, the midwest and rural south is just as bad. Only the people are uglier, the newer generations are lazier, and the economy is even fucking worse.
@@spearofconquest Hard to be worse then LA though lol. Thats why so many companies are relocation out of there. Tesla will probably be going to Texas since they just got approved for a $1 Billion tax break and want to get the hell out of CA.
Quex I don’t think that viewpoint is talked about enough. I went from a big city to a tiny town for school for a different type of living and it was just awful.
i live in downtown chicago, and i actually really enjoy it. i can walk or bike to pretty much everything i need, or otherwise i take the train to the various neighborhoods outside of downtown. i used to live in the suburbs and hated it, because you need a car for every little thing. i actually think the way that the suburbs were designed and built is awful for people's mental health, for the environment, for convenience, and for the fact that people are basically isolated from each other. and especially now with the internet and smart phones, this is basically creating new generations of people who hardly go outside and shut themselves off from the world.
After 5 years, I finally moved out of LA this past February right before COVID overwhelmed the country. That city exacerbated my depression and anxiety so severely that between urban alienation and not being able to work through COVID when rent is $1800+/month, I’m not honestly sure I’d be alive right now if I hadn’t left. Living with friends in Phoenix now, and even during the pandemic, my quality of life is FAR more comfortable and maintainable. My career has even started to build steam, now that basic living expenses don’t cost me a blood contract with Satan.
Needless to say, I'm happy you're with us, and happy I get to read your comment. Thank you for sharing that. I knew nothing about LA. Now I know a little. Fuck LA. North Cali isn't looking so grand, either.
LA and New York City have been over priced and over crowded for 90 years. Living ANYWHERE else, especially when you make 6 figures, is a better option.
I can luckily. Art is still viable if your doing oils for people with 7+ figures. But it’s definitely time to get out and come in for shows every 3 months .
Yup, I'm about to be out of NYC, not looking back. It's a cesspool, sad but true. Retiring here is absolutely NOT an option. (Born n raised in Brooklyn)
No one realizes how good of a soul and human Joey Diaz is the reason why he looked into the camera and said basically don’t give up people there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, strive and keep going the last part of this video really got to me
Joey Diaz is trash. He's here talking about crime while bragging in other videos about coercing female comedians into sex and ruining their careers. He's the biggest bullsh*tter out there.
@@outbackoverland Yeah, everybody who watches Rogan on any basis knows what his plans are; he's not shy about giving off signs he's not going to stay where he is, although he loves California (or, what it used to be). But he's also a dude with a working brain - and anyone who can say that about themselves, is getting the hell out of California ASAP; or making plans to! I estimate that, two or three years from now, California will have probably lost between 10-15% of its' population. The media there won't talk about it much.... but it'll be common knowledge; and it won't just be well-known people. Their housing problem will pretty much fix itself... because they'll have so many vacancies that a lot of the people who CAN'T get out for whatever reason, are going to fill in where the people who COULD get out, left! Of course, Gavin Newsome and his ilk will spin it as "California did the right things to solve the housing problem; we're the BEST!" but.... everyone will know what's happened; and why. Especially when California doesn't send as many representatives to Congress because the population will seriously dip by 2030, when the next census takes place!
Mhmm. Covid Central. That's what it is. The only reason he's moving there is so Joe "I Am a Bernie Sanders Supporter" Rogan (Sure you are, Joe) can avoid paying taxes on that Spotify deal.
Texas is getting worse by the month homeless population is on the rise and the democrats are trying to turn it into San Francisco and Seattle type places

Need to a public information campaign warning expats that they need to leave the politics that turned every major western city in the world into a shithole back in LA where it fucking belongs
They should make it so that if you, a CA transplant, leave a blue state and enter a red state (or vice versa), your vote is 50% going to local politics. So your vote is 50% going to Donald Trump and local Conservative Congressmen. It only makes sense, if a State is failing, you don't want to spread the cancer if you're trying to stabilize the country.
I work with two woman at the bank who moved to Michigan from California. They don't say much but you can tell they really don't like it but are greatful to be working amidst Coronavirus.

I appreciate ur words Joey, brought tears to my eyes.. "don't be ashamed, everybody's going through something right now" 😔 So true, thanks for sayin what we're are all feeling. We're going to make it thru this, just gotta ride it out
I just hope as all of these people leave California they understand WHY it’s gotten the way it is and don’t try to make their new city/state the same way. If Texas goes blue there goes the country lol
Texas is going blue anyways. The demon Ted Kennedy said the democrats will transform this country by changing our immigration system to only allow only non European poor people to immigrate here and that is exactly what they did in the 1968 immigration bill and before that bill California, New Mexico, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Arizona and Texas were all solid red states and every last one is solid blue or moving towards solid blue.
@Jermaine Flowers that ain't happening as long as you keep President Trump in office, best economy in 70 years until the China virus. But you'll be right if liberals get in
I’m always hearing people say they moving from NYC or LA, when I ask where they moving to they say Austin, TX. But Austin is getting just as expensive and overcrowded as any of the big cities.
This has effected me as well as millions of others. And uncle Joey, your right bro. This isnt anyone's fault. Except the obvious, government. I lost my business, as well I lost my job. It's been hard, realizing I'm gonna lose everything. But a brother of mine said it "atleast you know it's not your fault, you didnt do anything wrong" and that made me feel better. Bless everyone this shit show has effected.
"Government" is NOT your daddy, your savior, your spirit-guide. COVID is spreading because people, not Government, are selfish and irresponsible and ignorant. We'd still be "here" with Biden or Hillary in-office. LOTS of people don't trust, and thus don't listen-to, the Government for a variety of reasons. November won't change that. Your parents should have taught you a few things....
@@MichaelJames-lz7ni the government could've stopped flights to China despite the whos useless advice when this started getting back. It should be obvious that if an epidemic starts in a country, if you keep going there and to different countries, it won't take long to become a pandemic. This is the governments fault, they are supposed to guide and even in the midst of the pandemic they can't lead effectively enough to slow it down.
Michael James you are coming off too abrasive. But you have valid points. People should not be dependent on their government the government should be dependent on the people. But this entire situation is not being handled effectively. Bailouts should not be given to businesses. The “small” business that received them should fail like in an actual capitalist society. The government is tyrannical at this point. They are not representing or serving the people. It is like all great empires before it, too large to operate effectively
quinton dragg - He didn’t get that much though. But the point still stands, it’s definitely a tax break for him. So what if other rich people live there? Most of them are there to rub shoulders with other elites. Rogan doesn’t care about that crap.
quinton dragg yeah but he’s now gotta sell his home and his studio in California in the middle of a pandemic so he’s getting terrible prices on both those things. The reality is this move will actually end up costing joe as much if not more than just paying state taxes would’ve especially if he had structured the deal properly

Maybe so, but given Cali's tax structure, which is reliant primarily on the rich, it will cripple the state to lose a fraction of millionaires and businesses that support a bloated tax-the-rich system. Cali will keep failing BIG until it stops trying socialism.

And I am from LA, But I live in SF, and we have 1/2 the law enforcement that is in LA and Not nearly the problems. Defunding The LAPD is not enough!
