John Mayall has been giving me so much enjoyment since about 1967 and on. I've only had the pleasure of seeing him 3x but I treasure each of those performances. Thank You!
I listen to John Mayall's " The Turning Point " album almost everyday. I won't say anything negative about someone who inspired and shaped me to become a professional musician. John's having fun and it's keeping him going. I hope he makes it to 100.
I had the good fortune to talk with John a while before a show at a small venue just north of Chicago about 7 or 8 years ago. Of course I fanboy'd a bit (sorry John!). He told me he attributed his continued long life to having given up the booze. So the man's not just talented, he's smart to boot!
Good band Mr. John. I have been listening to you since the late 60's. Your albums with Eric and Mick T on guitar are museum quality and should be stored there. Thanks for all the years...heck decades.
I admire love You John for Your lifelong passion in blues folk jazz for Your inspiration of so many talented musicians whom You made great for instance Eric Peter Mick and a lot more thereby You never lost Your modesty although You are a living blues - legend
I first heard Mose Allison when I played my college roomy's album on our hi-fi or maybe stereo...became a lifelong fan. He has a bio that's excellent reading too. 60 years ago almost...where did it go...
From the CRUSADE Album ( 1966 I believe ). That’s when I picked it up !! Of course, much more energy at its original release. I was in a Blues Band and we played it . I’m so happy to see that John is still enjoying and doing what he loves most. ( By the way: He’s a great bloke mates )
@@liegebricking No...Raw Blues is just a collection of blues titles from various artists.( Otis Spann, Mayall & Clapton, Mayall & Green, etc..) out in 1967 and Parchman farm is not even on the album.. But is on the Blues Breakers, JM with E.C / sorry :)
@@georgesozoux6777 yeah you are right. It's the record with Eric Clapton. Not on Crusade wich has Mick Taylor on guitar. And not on Raw Blues wich is a collection.
