Disgusting doesn't even go half way to describe this man and his cronies, they showed nothing but contempt for the people and the elderly. They should be behind bars the lot of them. My family missed out on seeing our Dad during these lockdowns, Dad's mental health suffered and unfortunately 6 months after we finaly came out of Lockdown our Dad passed away. To say I am angry right now is an understatement and I am not the only person feeling this way.

@starmersbarber

Johnson, Hancock, etc have been spouting this 'working hard' stuff as soon as they were under the microscope. It's such an arrogant, lazy and disrespectful thing to say. I don't believe people like that know the meaning of hard work, because little of what they do affects any of their own future prosperity. The bloated Johnson will now waddle off back to his mansion, perhaps to eat and drink himself to seriously ill health. Now that would be a 'pity'.
@nichotto

@@warren7389 No, they were in-effect laws that had been introduced by Boris Johnson and his Government as an emergency measure in March 2020. Members of the general public were fined for breaking those rules. Two women alone in a Derbyshire park were fined for being five miles from their town/village of habitation. Many others were fined for exceeding the number of people gathered in one place. Boris Johnson and his government even blamed the rise in the spread of the virus on people gathering to hold illegal parties. The Sun newspaper reported on coach loads of people leaving London and heading for Blackpool despite the fact that Blackpool was in Tier III and was like a ghost time, but apparently the Sun reporter saw all these coaches pass by his/her window. It goes to show just how the whole thing was a bare-faced lie to test our compliance. The government’s behaviour proves, to me at least, that they knew all along that the lockdowns were wrong, and were just used as a means to keep the general public fearful and compliant with the ‘rules’. As soon as it became obvious that MPs, government advisors (Cummins being the prime example) and the PM himself had little or no regard for the ‘rules’ then the whole game of charades was exposed for what it really was. I cannot trust any government figure again after this debacle.
