And "I go Mark Ham with Ill zingers." Mark Hamill who did the voice of the Joker in Batman the Animated Series and a couple of the animated movies as well.
there's another hidden meaning of the shining man reference. there's a conspiracy theory among hardcore fans(i'm not one of them, i just like conspiracy theories as entertainment) that the joker KNOWS he's a comic book character. that his apparent insanity is really just super-sanity. that's why he's aware of the audience. and that's why when they dropped him in some pool that gives temporary insanity, instead he became temporarily sane.
Dude, what kind of car do you have that fits three nearly seven ft tall men?! I have a focus and my husband who is 6"1 has already cracked the damn knob for headlights completely off the dash...his knee actually pushed it straight into the dashboard when he was trying to move the seat back so now I have to reach into my dashboard to turn on the headlights FFS lol...
The Biggie line at the end is a huge whiff, imo. The rest of Pennywise's stuff is good. The Joker takes it for me, but the real winner is the makeup crew.
@@MrAchsas To be honest, all of Epic Rap Battles of History lines are pretty corny. I thought this shit was cool when I was like 10, not really actually lol Always thought this was lame as shit.
Love you Jamel.... love you even more when you are with your family.....it shows me why you are such a good person ( watch how a person treats their momma and family and you can find out a lot about their true nature). Blessings. You guys make me happy.
I thought he was encompassing all of the people who played Joker. He is dressed like the TV show Joker but mentions the movie variants in some form or another.
Plus he says "when I flow I go Mark Ham, with *ill* zingers" in his second verse. Skip over the word "with". There are a lot if examples in ERB where you have to look at two lines together to see the bar.
@@edwardblair4096 Yeah they made that "ill" (sick) zingers to go with Mark Ham (ill). So good for 2 ways for every line they say but sometimes they are super hard to catch like that one!!
What I love about this one is all the subtle and not so subtle references they make. Several actors who played the joker (Ceaser Romero, Jack Nicolson, Joaquin Phoenix, Heath Ledger, and Mark Hamill) as well as Tim Curry who played Pennywise in the made for TV movie version. You also have to know something about the characters and their stories. The "next gangbang scene/he should try a little more PG and a lot less 13" references a scene in the book where the Losers Club all lose their "innocence." I think 5 boys and 1 girl, use your imagination or better yet don't. Their are also references to Batman stories like "The Killing Joke" and "A Death in the Family."
The Knockout line for me was when Pennywise brought the evil clown references into the real world. "I'm the John Wayne of John Wayne Gacys, the underground clown posse, my flow's insane..." aside from the ICP reference, that may be the darkest line since Clint Eastwood's line at the end of his battle with Bruce Lee, "I'd beat you in round two but that'd be unbelievable, no one in your family ever lives to see a sequel." FYI for any readers who don't know, John Wayne Gacy was a guy who would use a clown costume to put on shows for charity and at hospitals, there he would mark kids then abduct or lure them to his residence where he would rape and kill them. At the time of his conviction he held the record for most homicides by a single person in US legal history (33). A truly terrifying human being.
I thought Joker, at first. Later, i realized that i just have more of an affinity for the Joker character, (and Batman), than i do for Pennywise, (and IT). Now i think they're pretty well tied. They both did a great job.
Love your reactions from your old school reactions to Aurora to the ERB series! You should check out Shane Gillis - Special Olympics(comedy) and have the brothers with you!
I'm a huge fan of both clowns, and honestly? I feel like this one betrayed both of them. "All your movies sink?" I mean... that just isn't true. By the numbers it isn't true. This one just felt lazy, which is not something I never thought I would say about ERB.
