Did you forget the video around 5am when KR backed into OJO car and as she pulled away the tail lite was intact and Not shattered into all those pieces?
It seems they don't want the truth. How many different ways do they have to hear that none of the evidences points to Karen. They don't want to believe they have been deceived.
I think everyone wants justice for John.. but putting the blame on Karen when it was literally impossible for her to have hit him with her SUV based on physics and science is outrageous. Listen to the independent experts. How about a proper independent investigation?
Waste of money and time, and sadly, KR has to now pay defence for a second time, when they did a fantastic job, first time around. There was so much reasonable doubt, the trial should never have taken place the first time. Commonwealth is so short of any evidence against her - what do they have : she said "I hit him"??? She asked!! It was a question, she was hysterical at finding her boyfriend virtually dead on the ground, you should never be tried on something ridiculous as this. Something that can be seen both ways.
All evidence clearly proves that Karen Read killed John O'Keefe. So Karen Read created a circus to distract attention away from the evidence. Your discernment skills need improvement
This case should've never been a freakin mistrial, where all the evidence clearly pinned this crime to the COPS and a freakin cover-up from their friends and families, where all of them should've been fired, arrested, and charged with multiple felonies....This case marked one of the biggest American Justice system embarrassments ever....
I feel equally that strong. Anyone who sees something else is tainted by local influences, family or friend connections or mere lack of common sense and missing the obvious.

I am hoping there is a different judge IF there were to be a re-trial, but I am hoping there is no re-trial. What a waste of money and time. This should never have come to court in the first place!!!
In the beginning, the def attys did request this judge to recuse herself, and she denied the request. This trial should've been moved to another county. The jurors should have been sequestered, especially due to all the pro-Karen or free Karen demonstrators around that courthouse..
Agree . There's no way anyone could say there is no doubt she did it . The prosecution showed evidence that 💯 percent convinces us KR did this . There was to much doubt . I think she was framed and people that don't believe in conspiracys ( that's their right ) but I believe in conspiracys and feel their was a cover up . Miss McCabe knows she knows something and is scared someone in her family may get in trouble . 5:12 supporting Karen does not mean you do not support Justice for John O’keefe. I have no qualms and much respect for our brave men and women in blue. The coverup that occurred and was allowed to continue during this investigation is sickening and should be called out for what it is. Clean up house and get rid of the bad apples because it sounds like the roots run deep in that place. Departments such as this one is what gives such a bad name for the rest of the departments(and imo the majority) that are not corrupt.

Injustice. There was WELL beyond reasonable doubt. The 2 witnesses that were independent, well educated, hired by the FBI were the best experts a person could get. I am so dissapointed, this is not based on your personal opinion, jurors needed to look at evidence/ witness testimony
Just the police handling of the evidence, without chains of custody, without reports created Reasonable Doubt for anyone who actually understands the term

I hope Karen and everyone brings justice to John and his family Even if the house of the Albert's has been sold it should be investigated if a brutal brawl happened there. Remember it was said John was in a bad fight according to the autopsy. Blood traces could easily be found. That's the starting point. Then see , who was involved and who covered it up. They definitely need 2 investigate. Everyone in the house, including and especially the nephew of the police officer that owned the house where it happened to me. This is all a huge cover up to save his nephew. I watched the testimony of the nephew of the cop. He just could not come across to me That he was telling the truth. He lied constantly And that family lied the investigator should not be a cop period
This would have never made it to court in Australia, what an absolute circus and embarrassment given the world has been watching . I truely hope the FBI step in and press charges against those who are really responsible for John’s death and the coverup and corruption that followed.

After 30 years in LE and the last 10 field training new officers, when I heard the testimony of the initial officer (can't remember his name) who stated they didn't investigate or check anything inside the residence the dead officer was found in front of, even though there was a nexus between the two, I knew right there at that point, 'cover-up'. Even if the officer was found outside a random house, you would still knock on the door and ask the residents if they knew anything. Police work 101. I'd lose my sh!t if I discovered this basic questioning wasn't done. If I was a juror, anything said by the prosecution after that point would've been a moot point. These good ol boy clubs exist, and this is what happened here.

I wish John's family would wake up and realize they have been lied to. The people who befriended them and who were in 34 Fairview on 1/29 are the ones responsible for John's death. Evidence, facts, and science do not lie. They're putting their anger into the wrong person.

Watching from Canada. I’m shocked at the corruption and obvious frame job. Maybe naive, but never thought police could be this evil and corrupt, maybe a few here and there. It’s systematic and scary.
I definitely don't know what happened. I do know she is very fortunate to have money. No money, she's 100% found guilty. The defendant, cops, and prosecutors aint clean, they are all scary AF.
It’s going to be interesting to see how tactics change when this goes to trial again. Defense might shy away from being framed since there is so much reasonable doubt without that. And maybe prosecution will try and get out in front and those text messages.
The lack of deliberation before announcing intention to seek retrial shows the political gamery of the DA and if Bostonians are smart, they will recognize that politics in DA offices is very dangerous to the entire society.

it’s not necessary to have not seen or heard of the case. during jury selection and before trial starts they are asked to disregard anything they may have seen and refer only to the evidence shown.
