The more Julianna talks the more I dislike her. The 1st fight Amanda could not train properly for a number of reasons. Fight #2 when she did train absolutely mopped the floor with Pena. She could have finished it multiple times but she made a statement. Amanda is not running she was literally going to fight Pena until Pena got hurt. How is that running?

Peña waited for Nunes when she pulled out from UFC 265 to UFC 269. Nunes couldn’t even give Peña that same respect. So yeah, it’s running. Call it what you want. It’s running. She knows Julianna won’t give up. That’s why she’s afraid of her. She’s terrified of her opponents having no fear.

@@Steven-eg8be People who actually follow MMA knew that. Obviously not the casuals. They were scheduling a fight in January and it fell through. Nunes then wound up accepting the fight with Pena. key words here "ACCEPTED THE FIGHT" then "PENA" not Nunes backed out. Then Nunes fought Aldana anyway. Nunes showed up Pena didn't whether you want to believe it or not about Aldana, Pena ran not Nunes. So my suggestion to you is learn about something before you open you trap.

I thought she looked promising at one point and despite popular opinion, yes she got demolished in the 2nd fight but I never seen someone bring it back from the brink as many times as she did. Several submissions that would’ve been successful if they weren’t sweaty and her own blood wasnt pouring into her eyes to see. Julianna’s ego was the reason for her downfall in the 2nd: 1. Barely threw any Leg Kicks, Teep Kicks 2. Treated the shit like a boxing match AND was only headhunting, no body blows. 3. Didn’t clinch or throw elbows and knees to create openings for a takedown. Which ground fighting is apparently what she specializes in. 4. And last but certainly not least. Didn’t punish Amanda for exiting the exchanges with both hands out to the side like she’s directing traffic. (Teep, Sidekick, Roundhouse would’ve hurt her) Basically she Rhonda Rousey’d herself and didn’t stick with what got her to the dance. Sorry for long windedness lol

Pena did make Amanda Nunez tap 1st fight and 2nd fight Amanda won all 5 rounds knocked her down 6 times in the 1st to rounds to her none and Mulitable takedowns 3rd-5th to her none. Amanada Nunes won every round 5-0 in rounds vs Julianna Pena and Pena tried to submit her never could get ahold of her facts are facts. Pena submitted her 1st fight and 2nd fight Amanda Nunez dominated her all 5 rounds. The whole point in UFC is to get a win it don't matter how it comes a win is the same no matter how you get it and thats pure facts.

Julianna Peña is a rock star!!!! The total package, a boss that keeps it moving and keeps it 💯 Holds no punches while punching opponents in the face. The most entertaining woman fighter to grace the octagon. 🍿 🤩 Julianna’s star will continue to rise iregardless of Amanda retiring. Nunes may have been the champ but Péna proved to be the A side, and then Julianna was both!!! 💰 🤑 After securing the bantamweight strap I think the UFC should look into creating a Women’s BMF title. The fans would absolutely devour that kind of matchup with Julianna involved. I feel you Julianna, you inspire the desire. Bring the fans out of their chair and screaming for more. But she spent an entire few months saying that she didn't believe Nunes had COVID and that she was using that as an excuse to not fight her. And then turns right around and pulls out of the fight claiming broken ribs. How do you know she didn't make that up to avoid a third fight given the beating she took last time? When Nunes lost the first fight, all I said was that I thought she got lucky. But I don't make excuses for Nunes, or any fighter.

Southpaw has the be the lamest excuse I've ever heard. It was Pena who pulled out of this last fight. She can't whine because she didn't get the fight. The only thing on Nunes that was threatened was her fist because of how many times Julianna's face hit it. She tried the arm bar and what happened? Nunes escaped. Julianna got knocked down twice in round one, knocked on her ass three times in round, got taken down every time Nunes went for it. Like I said, Julianna was scheduled for the 3rd fight and she backed out. Sounds more like Pena was the scared one.
