Looks like Jumper just released an F.port version of this receiver. Same size board minus the 5-pin connector - it has 3 solder points only. Probably a touch lighter as well. Solder directly to the flight controller's S.bus connection to get signal and telemetry over 1 wire.

Guess you need to get 5 to get that $9.99 deal and with shipping it comes out to comes out to $11.01 as of this video. Still a kick butt deal compared to the XM+ for $13 on RDQ and $20 for the RXSR. Seems like it's still a far better deal if the telemetry is equivalent to the RXSR for less than half the price. I would like to see a distance flight to check out true penetration and any failsafe issues. I'm close to pulling the trigger on five of them.

Too bad, i looked from it first on your site but ended up having to get it from ebay..lmao.. Oh well.. I'll be looking forward to grabbing a few of those soon. Thanks!
Say guys I have the Jumper t 16 internal and the jumper R8. Can't get them to bind any idea why. I followed the directions as printed on paper. Thanks Mike

Well, I am not getting the radio Receiver to talk to the control board.Yellow to Signal on the R1F, Red to 5vlts, blk to ground. Bind gets rssi in FrSky - D16 mode, I get the JUmper to tell me that it has Lost connection or found connection. I must be still missing something. In Beta Flight I am not able to view the sliders screen. Help
I'm having the exact same issues. Receiver is bound, Green light, RSSI, the whole deal... But cannot get any input in betaflight. Did you ever find a solution to this?
SO the Jumper " Multiprotocol " ( which is suppose to cover all brands was why it was created ) is now creating their own monopoly brand ? Isn't that what Frsky wanted ? DJI ? Spektrum ? Etc etc..?.. Good to know they have created their own Rx...but again the term "Multi-protocol" comes to mind....LOL..regardless another great and interesting video
@@graysonhobby I disagree, neither type have servo pinouts, just SBUS...So, in fact the comparison is perfectly valid...The XM Plus is a long range RX which is smaller and lighter...
@@EnglishTurbines doesn't change the fact that the receivers are similar in specs. What you're using in your quad doesn't change how the receivers work.
