Against lefties, at whatever level, let your instincts work. Do not try to reason out the spin which is counter to all right spins because this leaves us no time .

I really enjoy this channel. Aesthetic of it and everything. I am forwarding these videos to all my mates that are playing TT and know English(not that many of them, but still ;-] ). I even go as far as turning of adblock if I like the video. I am also fan of Khanak since I saw that match of him against Timo Boll. Later I checked out Adams Bobrow video with him and now I am cheering for him every time I get the chance to watch the matches. Really cool guy, and so is the host.

In my opinion, the most important advice here is variety. In the serve/receive game, it's especially important and probably a bit easier to do. You may have the nicest short push and it could be useless if the opponent has a great flick, while some "crappy" long floating balls may cause them much more trouble. Learning to do such varied shots is not so easy however. Might be a case for doing more "fooling around" type of matches, to grow the creativity :-) Super video, thanks a lot for doing it!
@PechPongTT
@PechPongTT 2 года назад
Yes that’s what I got from it to, I have since started experiencing a lot with medium long serves mixed in with my short and long, it has been great because it’s stopped the flip as well as given me a few soft loops that I can counter plus it’s added the awareness that my opponent now has to think about another thing. So great to talk with good players and just be open to trying new things 👍👍

Awesome! I just love this youtube channel. Its so wholesome and positive. It's interesting how Jha talks about the game and how he heat LYJ. I wonder if at 9-9 instead of LYJ trying to score off the bh flick with power if he had gone for slow and spinny Jha's blocking tactic would not have worked. Alsl very interesting to.listen to how he feels comfortable blocking and creating time pressue for his opponents. I want to try blocking tactics more so ill try his push to the middle tactic to make it difficult for my opp to score. Much to learn from this video. I hope you will interview more pros!

Hi Seth, veeery usefull advices. thx very much. But one thing came to mine mind while listening to it. Mb it could be a seperate video in the future. I would love to know your advices how to play against people from your own club. Bcs i use to attent a lot of tournaments and often with my friends and we have to play each other very often. And its comletly different play against people who knows you very well. Its often very hard for me. thx in advance
@PechPongTT

I Read a book about this it’s called winning ugly by Brad Gilbert and he made a good point as I was curious as well. Basically when you play people you know he encourages you to go down the rabbit hole of knowing what your opponent is doing because you have the repetitions to know what they will do. Problem is they know what you will do as well but since you know that they know now you can do something different and they will be confused. Like I said it’s a rabbit hole but you should go use the information better than your opponent.

Can you do a video that goes over what balls to snap on/ control with good spin/ speed vs balls you should kill? Like obviously if the ball is floating even if it is low you should go for a powerful shot right? The videos you upload are very informative btw. 👍
