Kate Garraway's New Documentary On Caring for Derek Airs Tonight | Loose Women 

Kate is such a strong brave woman. I wish her and especially her kids all the best. I wonder if some of the cowards here would say it straight to Kates face?

Sick of hearing about it. I lost my mum, step dad, and best friend within 8 months of each other all to Covid. I had zero help with anything. She said her car was stolen, then tyre went on motorway, then her fridge freezer went then her washing machine went etc etc. She got help with it all. She got LOTS of help and is still wanting it now, despite books documentaries etc etc. So fed up of seeing and hearing about her. I refuse to watch anything she is on now. It was sad that Derek died, but also sad that my beautiful mum stepdad and best friend died. We as a family have simply had no choice but to get on with it. 😢

Watched Dereks story tonight and Kate contradict herself when she said ,she had phone call to sayDerek had died, then said her and the children where by his side when he died holding his hand ,so which is it Kate?

Its very sad he died and i feel for their children, but seriously how many more documentaries. Thousands of people lost loved ones during covid.

Just seen her on the one show saying she struggled to pay the 4 grand a week of care for Derek. What sort of care cost 4 grand a week! How come someone earing over half a million a year couldnt afford care! How can anyone normal struggling for care really relate to this woman?

My heart goes out to Derek who truly suffered ,but please Kate go and grieve quietly with dignity and without all this publicity as we all do when we lose someone very close to us . Please let Derek rest in peace 😢

Lovely woman but many thousands of people lost loved ones during covid. Many people who were struggling terribly financially. I feel every time I'm watching TV she's on, which feels slightly odd. I found it unusual too, that she returned to work so soon after his death. Really odd!

Enough kate...this is too much...Its sad and its grief..but we don't need another documentary about Dereck and Covid!!! She said this morning she was skint...so I'm thinking what are her reasons for this.. Let the man rest in peace. Its getting shady now and in questioning motives.

I may be sounding rude, but she is squeezing so much out of her story. So many people lost loved ones durning Covid and bless them, they have trived on without repeating the story.

How can anyone feel for that woman, using her now dead husband for money. She left funeral and went back to work within a week, hardly normal behavior and all those comments aboit her not feeling loved while he was ill. Shes twisted

He was a pure scumbag and seemingly a polar opposite to Kate. Was she attracted to his money? He doesn't get too much sympathy from those that know about his past. I'm sure Kate isn't on the verge of bankruptcy like she's making out to be. Let this story die now please ffs.

Its very disturbing to me that her husband was so ill for soo long and she whines about her not getting roses and the poor guy couldn't be her fantasy man during his horrible existance. Shameful. Now she started to whine about money. She is on tv since 24 years getting salaries and benefits most of us only dream about. Shameful. Now she is playing the "pitty me card". I think her ultimate goal is for everyone to pay ther things. 200 % sure. All through this story she has been shoving her story up our rear ends acting like none of the rest of the world exists. Most people had to survive their times in cramped apartments. Work from home, helping kids with school online, taking care of sick and dying family members. And all with very little luxury. She sat home in her luxury home with her kids. Having a pretty different environment than most of us. What disturbed me most was her saying that bringing her husbsnd home and having to care for him herself with probably 10 nurses was like falling of a cliff. Toooo much work for her. She would have preferred if he stayed away these last 4 years being someonevelses burden. He obviously bacame a great burden at home she didn't want. Too much inconvenience for her. Its discusting how she parades him around. Can you imagine beeing married to such a woman. Don't worry; threre are more such creepy wifes out there. When my dad was ill my mommi dearest didn't want to take care of him either. " i want to travel not having to take care of him" was her saying. Not much love there either Nast little humans. Selfinterested is # 1 pryority

she's horrible. making a drama out of a crisis and using her husband's illness and death as a cash cow.. men know they're just their for women to use as resources, but this is taking it above and beyond

Maybe people should not be overweight, evidence shows that being obese was a risk factor for covid, and should take better care then these adverse effects would be less likely take responsibility for your health folks please for your health

I'm surprised she didn't have a ppv channel to watch his final days. Absolute disgrace the way she's exploited that man's final months on earth for money.
