Kenny Brown CSR and 3.8 Special Mustang on Motorweek TV 

3.8 special was awesome I own one after adding my own supercharger to it the hp went all the way up to 228 hp and 242 tq with great impressive mpg ,it still eats the streets,back in 04 having a fast v6 mustang was unheard of .

I really wanted a Kenny Brown Supercharged Windstar.

The 3.8 has some potential. I had a 99 35th anniversary 5 speed car and managed to pull a 14.6 E.T. out of it. The car ran 16.1 stock. Diablo programmer, true dual exhaust with H pipe, 1/2" intake spacer (not throttle body spacer), 3.73 gears, Ford locker, full frame ties, short throw shifter, quick throw clutch quadrant. Fun street car, and it pissed a lot of GT owners off lol.

Old video, I know, but how did they manage to make the 3.8 slower!? New Edges with the 5-speed usually average in the 7.1-7.3 range for 0-60, and 15.4-15.6 in the quarter.

the mid corner push is dialed into the steering geometry intentionally do the rear end does not want to come out and play so often and it's Kenny's driving Style 2 dive into the Apex square off your turn by stomping the throttle coming out and at that moment if you did not have a tiny bit of push the backend would do somersaults and 360 degree spins

That mid corner push it designed into it deliberately to stop the back in from wanting to come out and play allowing you to outdrive a Porsche 911 GT3 with no problem as a matter of fact this car was chasing the Ford GT around Indianapolis raceway Park during the hundredth anniversary of the Ford motor company as kermy was hitting 185 miles an hour down the main straight away and chasing the Ford GT into turn one no problem and was very impressive.... And today Rodger Penske copied Kenny Brown's suspension system into the new NASCAR mustangs that are street legal you can rent from Hertz

The Kenny Brown Mustangs are impressive, but the announcer's voice sounds like a hard pitch by a desperate used car salesman.
