the tech in top trim versions of niro is amazing. You don't need to get in the car to use remote parking. You can start it remotely.. at least the hybrid

I got news the day you uploaded this ..... :) :) :) it's a delivery date for an Enyaq iV80 Sportline+....Thursday 16th Feb... only 15.5 months since initial order, and 2 years, 2 weeks since I started working here! XD

I had that key fob not recognized in my Tiguan and found out it was the 12V battery being low that had caused all my glitches. Since keeping it fully charged I haven’t had any more glitches. I’ve heard of lots of different cars having the same problem with phantom battery drain and software glitches. Not just EVs.

Excellent video! Loved it! I too want the digital speedometer in the non dynamic cluster screens on the left? side and the battery percentage. Maybe in a future update? I found the phone connectivity excellent and the media like the radio easy to use. I never had connection problems with the app so its great 👍 navigation could use a refresh though.

Re the infotainment, you cannot listen to music from usb storage at the same time as Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. A little annoying.

We are so fed up with our 1st Edition ID3 we are testing one of these this week. I wasn’t sure of the looks and it not being a pure EV design but it looks better ‘in the flesh’ and the specs are good. We were thinking of an EV6 but 12mths plus for delivery. However 6 months for Nero EV

Can the CONFIRM message be turned off or no plz?

Frankly for me there’s too much data most of which I never access. However for nerds who like to know how they’ve been driving over the last few weeks it’s great. I just want a reliable car that’s comfortable and easy to drive and that’s definitely my Nero EV.

I have this "don't recognise the key" issue always, if I use the pre-heating with the app. I can't start the car, after turning everything off, closing the car and walk away for about 4 minutes, everthing is working fine again. So I don't think this is a low keybattery, it must be a bug!? I'm trying to figure this out with my locale dealer. If you don't use the splitscreen while displying the EV-screen, you just have to touch the car (with battery status), so the EV-settings appear more comfortable.

Chris. If the snow drive mode drops the torque down, is it possible that driving long distance in snow mode would extend the range out even more!?

Can you enlarge on your comment about the Start button at 0m 35s please? Is there a way to start the car without 'Bongs' while not wearing seat belt? I hatethose bongs! Thanks.

Are you using a VPN on your phone? That can cause the connection refresh issue you are having.

Get Panasonic or Varta batteries - the Lidl ones are terrible- have stopped using them in key fobs !

Is it me... where is the battery percentage level indicator? Why is this only as a standard that little thingie left underneath in the front display...?? In my M3 I had just a clear battery percentage indicator and if pressed you see the range in km.. Doesn't the Niro have such?? Does it really require using the other display and browsing.. feels ridiculous

So I got mine today.. I am spoiled I think coming from model 3.. temporary company car... but it was a joy. But overall the Niro feels more like a car compared to the M3.. It's just different. Apple vs Samsung. feature and infotainment wise I feel it's a downgrade. the navi system feels so outdated, maybe it's not even the system but the looks.. the graphics. it's sad that kia didn't apply a more aesthetic look and minimalist approach to their infotainment.. if you look at the car, the look of this is a downgrade. also the purple graphics.. ugh I truly hope one day the update it to a more minimalist look. one thing I miss is the remaining battery indication when selecting a destination... on the M3 you can select your destination and see also continuously the calculated remaining battery level... is there something in the Niro infotainment/navi that does something? am I missing something? thanks for the great video

Charging consumption in app shows nonsence. In car it is shown correctly.

Kia put a lot of thought into their designs that I believe sometimes gets misconstrued. I’ve been driving both the Hyundai Kona and lately the Kia Niro EV. On the point about the steering wheel heater. I believe the reason for it heating mainly the top half of the wheel is so that if one’s hands feel a bit too warm, one can move to the lower half of the wheel.
