Am using 1.0 litre gdi turbo petrol Sonet imt for the past 6months and drive very frequently between Chennai and Bangalore. Main positives I would say as the comfort inside the cabin and well refined, calibrated steering which gives immense confidence while doing a calculated overtakes. Car is perfectly steady even while cruising at 140km/hr! Ventilated seats are blessings during hot summer in Chennai 😀 Mileage is around 13 in cities and 17-18 in highways(economically driven) and tend to vary if we floor the ride as it provides 120bhp immense power 🤭🔥. So far in love with my Sonet and perfectly fine in all sorts. PS - my waiting period was 3.5 months 😭 which is a drawback from KIA side I would say!

I watch your videos regularly over weekens. I live in Texas, US and I drive Kia Sorento here. Enga Kia is growing and expanding fast in US market. Telluride suv is their top selling suv among 3-row suv here and new ev EV6 gaining popularity competing against Tesla. Kia is very good in delivering tech features for value for money. Like you mentiined, kia need to work on safety rating compared to Toyota cars, toyota cars are solid though

Friend ua explanation was wonderful. Since Hyundai holds 51% of the shares they will play a major role in selling their makes which are bigger versions and a well known brand which the people are accustomed. With regard to the safety features of KIA vehicles, it's a sad note, hopeless for Indian models when compared to other countries. So any substranded product is tried and tested in India, that's the verdict for KIA.

I will agree with your points sir but Hyundai and Kia won't discontinue their crdi engine they can tune that accordingly based on the norms but according to my knowledge slightly power drop will be there if they tune that engine

To those who give negative feedback, I urge them to do a test drive Seltos, Sonet you will get unforgettable driving experience which no body will forget and definitely regret for not owning it. Well refined Engine Transmission, premium fit and finish, fully loaded advanced features, Extremely great customer service, well built design look and feel etc. Sonet and Seltos are one among very few products in India offering Torque converter Diesel automatic versions which is major strength even Tata and Mahindra are not providing. Though NCAP is not available just need to re-think then 90% cars available in India are not safe to drive. Even XUV 700 one of very safest car had gone through major accidents where many lives lost if no proper control over speed. Sonet and Seltos has waiting period of 3 - 6 months even in chennai.
