I always do a pascifist run until a certain point (when encountering enemies that are either immune or difficult to know out or when attacked by batalions). Anna always complained about how pascifistic I was, and she's always the first one I kill. Sweet, sweeet irony.
@@Damian_1989 You can run up the stairs and climb up the nearby ladder if you're fast enough. He should lose you. You can then get the information you need from the computer but Simons will not talk with you.
@@chessemchesse3676 That’s optional. First time I played DX was in 2002. First time I found out about this base in the sewers in another playthrough was almost 10 years later. And this was like my 5th playthrough. Still, must have been exciting though seeing these „MJ12 soldiers“ early on in the game without actually knowing who or what Majestic 12 is.
I put a LAM at the entrance to the room, so when she walks in she talks for a few seconds before detonating, then Lebedev instantly starts talking to me, seeming unaffected by all the blood and guts sprayed on our faces.
This is the time when I got headache. Well, when I was playing the game, I didn't kill Anna Navarre this time. In the next mission, I sent the message to the NSF, and then Anna Navarre caught me in the metro station in Battery Park. Then I found myself in the Majestic 12 prison, and Anna welcomed me that she came to watch me die.
If anybody wants to save Paul,just don't exit trough the window in the hotel,Stay and fight with Paul ...If you do that he will become invencible and will kill most of the guys . He will be shown later on majestic 12 facility in which he will escape alone. After all that he will meet with Jc again in Hong Kong.
i remember i didnt want to kill either of them or get either of them killed so i dragged some metal creates from outside into the plane to block anna's path. god damn deus ex ruled
I got this when first came out. One of my first pc titles, this command and conquer red alert 2 and half-life 1 where my first pc games I played, I never went back to consoles after those hits, ah the good ol days :P
@Mirdala - that confused me too - i did exactly the same thing with the Rocket Launcer and Navarre in the plane, but i killed her first time - this clip seems to show the rocket only wounded her and she turned invisble and hid - after the rocket, you can see her run into the room invisible then run out when Denton approaches .... cool ! Awesome game.
hey im recording with fraps and compressing with visual dub. before and after compression my videos are extremely dark and stay dark no matter the brightness settings... whats wrong?
@NoirXT Unfortunately it doesn't seem like they planned for people wanting to stay with UNATCO just to see what would go down. I was hoping to stick with UNATCO as the only cop among a mob of death-addicts, but it doesn't seem like that'll be the case.
I love the wavering and regret in Alex Jacobson's voice when he agrees to protect to and rationalizes it in this scene. Some of the only good voice acting in this game.

Out of interest, when I went up against Lebedev I talked to him and let Anne Navarre kill him. I had no idea you could kill her. What changes in the game when you do kill her? Do you get back to UNATCO base?

Ah, never had this happen to me b/c I just GEP gun her always. So she runs away cloaked, but then she'll come back and kill you if you don't go after her?
@gavilatius Yes, once you've swept out the enemies that stormed Paul's Room, He'll come out and say that he'll ask the Smuggler to join him later on at Hong Kong. But after that, you have to wipe out all of the UNATCO Troopers inside the Hotel. Once cleared, go out through the Front Door and proceed on until you meet Gunther, and then Gunther will say that he got orders to take JC and Paul alive. (If you exit through the Window at the Hotel, Gunther will say that Paul's already Dead.)
Interesting way to do it. I just had 2 LAMs stuck to the wall in the hallway there, that way as soon as the game told her to move into the room... BAMM!!! Instantly dead. :) 1 LAM was probably enough, but I wanted to make sure.
@gavilatius I see, no offense but, 2 days ago, I killed Anna and then Paul still shows up on his Apartment, then After I've finished Paul's Mission and turned against the UNATCO I tried to save Paul. I conserved a 7 LAMs for this Scene, and it works! To kill a MIB, all you need to do is kill them with a LAM. So I spammed lots of LAMs there. But here's a hint, to keep Paul alive, all you need to do is this: "DO NOT EXIT THROUGH THE WINDOW! EXIT THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR!" That's all.
@@ThisIsPampkin oo i just realised how old your comment was :D i recently got back into the game.. where exactly do u mean should we not exit from the window.. the second time we visit Paul? when he is sitting in the corner of his apartment? and is that all we have to do?
