I do like this guard takes no nonsense from tourists! The tourists are getting worse there should be some crowd control and keeping an eye on these bloody tourists 😢
That's what the special police unit on duty are for. If the don't see a problem nor should anyone else..these short clips don't tell the whole days story..
That was BRILLIANT!!! I love this trooper and the one before him. It's about time they get the tourons to listen. How hard is it to get behind a white line???; Love how the stable trooper totally ignores it and just keeps on walking. Is it me or are tourons getting more stupid by the day? If one of them got kicked by a horse having a moment, they'd be the first to complain. Poor horse. He's telling them in the only way he has that he's not a happy camper, and everyone ignores him. No wonder they get fed up sometimes.
Yes! A sign of head shaking in a horse is a sign of stress and / or anxiety. It can also happen in horses that are confined to a small space or stall, too often.😊
The Guard is doing his all to protect, not only the King but his horse also. He’s not standing any nonsense and that’s the way it should be. I’m glad they are being able to use their voices once more. It’s been to long that the Guards have been silenced. Thanks Buska for another awesome video, all of which will go down in history. You are part of documenting some of it. Thank you 🇬🇧
Hello Buska from Australia - Great to see. This is the same guard who called out the two idiots he sounds like he is not going to tolerate stupid in any shape or form today
Buska thanks for taking the time in being there these two guards have been awesome to look at since the start of the year, the box men and the camouflage uniform trooper, they have both been my favorite this year.
I think it’s time for the warning signs to be revamped again. The horses may kick or bite Don’t touch the reins Don’t use flash photography Don’t be a moron Don’t disrespect the King’s guard Don’t get in the way of the horses Don’t pose your squishy toddlers for a holiday snap of what they used to look like before they were trampled by a huge horse. Don’t abuse the horses We don’t charge you but the horses can You are not at a petting zoo We still have pillories and stocks for those who would like to experience first hand what it feels like to be mocked and ridiculed for someone else’s amusement. Don’t mistake this military facility for Disneyland If you’ve come to experience our historical sites please be advised that The Tower still has plenty of space to accommodate those “guests” who think these rules apply to everyone but them. By the time they’ve finished adding everything needed to educate idiots who seem to have forgotten to bring their common sense along those signs will end up covering the entire wall. The crowds are getting just too big. It’s not the guard’s job to protect idiots from themselves. It’s not the MOD police’s job to exercise crowd control or parent other people’s kids. Perhaps it’s time they started employing marshals with experience in herding cats to take on that role. Or at the very least let the guards use their swords for their intended purpose. The horse is unsettled, pawing the ground, tossing it’s head, swishing its tail and weaving in the box and could decide to take itself out of that situation at any minute so let’s stand in front of it blowing kisses. I’m getting more and more convinced some people book themselves in for a frontal lobotomy before their visit to horse guards.
Only a matter of time I reckon. It’s not will they, it’s when! If that starts to happen we will already have been warned. Troubling times ahead, whether it be in a month or a few years from now, it’s coming unfortunately. 😢🇬🇧
I love this Guard, there is a time to be kind but sadly more times to be tough. Both make compelling watching! Thanks for another awesome video documenting history Buska.
I like how this Trooper uses his snaffle rein with fingertip softness to hold his horse steady. It is easier on the horses mouth than the curb rein.....the one with leverage that the public usually grab and pull down on the bars of the mouth for their moment of "fun".
I hope not, but im sure he knows what hes allowed to do and not allowed to do. After the last incident of the horses, the troopers need to be able to command people in order to not spook the horses. A couple of the guards are very quiet spoken and some dont say anything when they should. I have seen a couple troopers try to let things slide too.
The poor horse is like, just fukkin let me at them. And we should!!!! Could any horsey people tell me what it means when the horse is scraping his front hoove (sorry for spelling) ? ❤️🇬🇧
Him telling them off what great! However, when horses do this head shaking up and down, they are stressed or may be confined to a small space or stall too often.😊
Well done! Horsey’s putting in his opinion on the state of things, poor fella . He can’t shout but he can stomp! Not a good day for these two, people were pushing the envelope all day.😿🐎❤️
Unfortunately, there were more fools than any other days over there! Those fools are not even professional photographers or reporters! But they seemed to be able to sacrifice their lives for taking some photos!
No nonsense trooper, thinking about the safety of his horse and himself and the tourists. Then he had to sort out his unset horse. With control and reassurance he did well helping his mount stay on the box .

The guard in this clip shouldn’t have to put up with rude and ignorant tourists who pull his horse’s reins and generally take the mickey out of him! Go home if you can’t respect British customs or traditions.
You are tourists , HELLO YOU WERE IN THE WAY !!!! Have respect for these Guards it’s not Disney world it’s the British army headquarters not Disney world
Awesome, put these people in their place. These guards deserve respect and it is very sad they have to scream to get it. If whoever is in charge is not going to set any boundaries for these tourists then let the guards do what they need to do to get it done. Enough is enough, stop silencing these guards and let them shout if needed!
