This was my wife's 1st time watching. She never been a jw. She a singer songwriter musician . More over WOW and laughter. Thanks bridgete. Your awsome.
This KMA video was a home run Brigette! I hated singing this song because it was so long, boring, and made me want to bang my head against a wall; especially if it was sung at an assembly that I just wanted to be over. Only your singing made this song bearable and thank to the ending of your video, if this song ever pops into my head, I'm always going to associate it with the closing seconds of this video! Thank you!!!!
What did I think about during meetings.... I made up stories or did my english homework. Haha! See, taking notes was about the only activity allowed. So I learned to alternate, write for a bit, like I'm taking an important note, then stare at the speaker while the next scene played in my head. Write another line, stare blankly.... But, always remember to glean one point (and make a note of it) for when the parents asked "what did you take from the meeting?" Gotta be careful of that sneaky question.
When I resume teaching, I will have to somehow incorporate some of your videos into my lectures. By-the-way, in the last few years I have had some JWs in my class who were torn by the shunning but at that time, I was not aware or the drastic turn WT made until my siblings began practicing it on me. The mystery was solved last July when a video appeared on my c/ screen.
Bridgette, Take good care of yourself. I am not very big on "premonitions," but I felt scared for you when I saw you scrolling through my feed. It might be because of Steve Cash, but I felt it neccessary to reach out. 💚
@@sisterpfister7463 Steve Cash (recently died by suicide) was a popular and talented RU-vid personality who had a channel called "The Talking Kitty Cat". His videos were funny and cute and he had a very long running series on his channel centered around Sylvester his cat, his dog, and some other cats that joined the family. On his very last video, he apologized for the length of time between his videos and opened up about how he suffered from a bipolar disorder. Sadly, he lost his battle with mental illness.
@@sisterpfister7463 This by no means is meant to be derogatory. I work in the MH field and I sometimes get scared when I see what I perceive as people feeling really down. As uninformed as my comment is, please take good care of yourself.❤
@@badger1296 Oh ok, thanks. I just didn't get it! I assure you, I am doing fine. :-) My videos are getting less frequent because I am super busy with work and kids and projects, so I don't have as much time to record and edit. No need to worry about me, but I appreciate the concern.
it always stands out to me that those of us who were born into this cult always have the exact same note taking methings (ie, tallying common words and writing as you put it "blunt notes."). Add this to the pile of proof that this is indeed a cult
