Ingredients
Cooking Oil for frying
Corn Flour/ Tapioca Flour (to prevent Oil from splashing)
To marinate:
500-600g/ 1 pc of Mullet Fish/ Blackfin Scad
1 and 1/2 tsp of Turmeric Powder
1 tsp of Salt
For the Gravy
1/2 bowl of White Vinegar
A bowl of Water (depends on how much gravy you want)
1 thumb size of Ginger
3 - 4 pcs of Fresh Turmeric
6 pcs of Red/ Green Chillies
6 cloves of Garlic
1 tsp of Salt
2 tbsp of Sugar
For garnishing:
White Sesame Seed (Toasted)
1 thumb size of Ginger (Fried)
***You may add/reduce the ingredient's portion according to your preference)

hi Amy. I believe you must be busy with something recently. I have been waiting for your new video for month. I am enjoying almost all of your episodes, and I also tied out the Hokkien Char, Nyonya Pork steak, penang curry mee, gulai tumis curry and tau yu bak. I am going to cook Penang Nyonya Acar Fish for tomorrow dinner. Me and my family member love your recipe so much, you are really a GREAT COOK. I am looking forward for your new video. Thank you

Hi Grace, sorry for the zero posting of new videos. I wish to start recording of new videos too but it’s been very long since I have been away frm home due to MCO and this month, my daughter have just gave birth. I’m currently helping her with confinement. And she’s my editor too, hopefully we’ll be able to come back to production soon! ❤️

Aunty Amy, hope you'll also share those special "confinement" dishes, especially with your Ghee Hiang sesame oil (Penang represent as they say!). Reminds me of my dear family friend who took the trouble to bring two bottles of said oil to help her daughter's confinement in Melbourne... definitely an old-school tradition!

Hi CZ, this is my recipe for your reference: Ingredients: Water Gula Melaka White sugar Pandan leaves (tie them in a knot) [Boil till sugar melts] When boiling add in coconut milk n a pinch of salt. Stir using low flame. When there’s bubbles started to appear, turn off fire. Leave it to cool before serving with other ingredients [ready made cendol, kidney beans and palm seed] Best served cold (The amount of coconut milk depends on how thick/ creamy you want the dessert to be, I prefer them to be more concentrated).
