Making Delicious Kumquat Marmalade: An Easy Step-by-Step Recipe. If you don't have Kumquat where you live, just use orange with thick peel. Grate the very outer skin of the orange and slice with the pulp and white skin together. Continue to other steps 😊
The kumquat is a citrus fruit that looks like an orange but is oval-shaped and much smaller (1-2 inches). People first grew kumquat trees, also known as fortunella, in China in the 1700s. The name “kumquat” combines the Chinese words “gam,” meaning gold, and “gwat,” another word for tangerines.
Kumquats have sweet skin, which you can eat. It’s not very juicy, and sometimes can be sour but having sweet skin is best-eaten whole.
The inside may have a few seeds.

I love this! But when I buy kumquats in season somehow I never have enough left for marmalade. It’s also meyer lemon season, and they are my absolute favorite to make marmalade with because of their thin rinds and slightly floral taste. I use part honey and sugar in a very similar way to this. 💕Now I need to run to the store to get some 😂

Nefiiiis! İn northern Italy ((Liguria) we also use "chinotto" for this. İt is more bitter, but delicious as well! All these kind of citrus in syrup are fantastic when coated in black chocolate and refrigerated. Kumquat in such a way are my favourite! (Also because my kumquat tree is generous) Maybe abla your viewers would be happy to learn the incredible yeşil fındık reçeli! Next summer maybe?

Salam yes you can do it with orange, just peel the very outer skin which becomes hard and then slice with the pulp and white skin intact

I have a doubt, many doctors say that white sugar is harmful to health because it is refined and I see that many Turks consume it and they look healthy, so could someone clarify this doubt.
