That's an interesting comparison 🤔 of three fragrances. I have LDNL Bleu Electrique and I instantly get the Cardamom then the lavender. You're right tho it is clean 👌🏾 but it's also sexy smelling. I had a woman telling me I smelled really good. So the DNA is there.
When I wear my bottle of Bleu Electrique, I sometimes have a woman stop me and ask me what I’m wearing or compliment on it, even more than Layton and some other bangers. It’s acts as though it invites and entices someone who smells it to make a comment on it. All three are amazing and I hope YSL continues on this wave (and for longer next time). Keep up the good videos!
Not only are you right about bleu electrique, but this was "unsolicitedly" confirmed by random people in my surronding. It seduce people "subconsciouly". Women were flabbergasted by the smell. Some begged for some sprays in front of their "Sauvage" wearing boyfriends. One women said she wanted to get closer to me. because the perfume "tells her to do so". Another women told me its just magnetic and disarming. But even guys when they smelled this on me,, i felt that they respected me more. It's like it commands respect from men, but allures women.What else more can we expect in a perfume? Funnily although Layton and Naxos are also my complimented perfumes,but LNDL Bleu Electrique had an edge over them. Instead of calling it Bleu electrique , they should have called it LNDL "Maitre Seducteur", because it is truly one.

Lhomme is the first fragrance i fell in love with. Just wish the performance was a little better. But lhomme is a beast! Still love it. The ginger makes it very unique
Im actually happy with how you described bleu electrique i absolutely love lavender and grabbed it because i wanted a daytime into evening lavender bomb and its my easy dumb reach until i run out, i bought a vintage batch of la nuit to compare with but to me they are very different i see how most prefer the original as a date or evening fragrance but for me i wanted a lightly spicy and super fresh scent for work with a low chance of offending because i tried THE Sauvage for a week and couldnt stand the headaches it gave me just 3 sprays i prayed it wasnt as bad for coworkers and gifted that bottle to a family member rather quickly i might have to try l'homme at some point maybe once my bleu electrique stores get used up but 8 back up bottles is a lot xD at least i can always flip them for easy pocket change or trade them to community-based trade groups for other discontinued scents either way hard to hate something you buy 50% off

I have the original 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 bottles of la nuit along with 2016/2017/2020. Honestly all the same thing. Yes the original (2009-2010) is a bit stronger and richer (with an even sweeter woodsy smell at the base) but this is my most compliment scented overall because it blends in with my skin so perfectly and I guess it fits my persona with my dark and all black clothing look (not gothic lol) If you get no longevitity with the new formula, just OVERspray. I spray 12-15 times with my 200ML bottle of LNDL, works all night long for me and with the OG I would go 8 sprays. I also spray Iso E first as a base, to give it a nice boost. I am getting endless compliments with bleu electrique and I have 3 x 100 ml of this. I wear this during the day and/or night, its more versatile. It is a lot stronger than the newer batches in recent years and I will even say stronger than the OG on my skin! Now I also own 2 x 100 of Frozen cologne (also discontinued) and its amazingly strong for an EDC. I wear this one when its hot and muggy outside. This scent profile has always been my most complimented. No other scents profile has ever come close to this. I own about 40 different fragrances now and sold in my lifetime about 100+ bottles that I didnt want anymore.
You regret buying huge bottles of something? I buy 50 to 60ml usually and that lasts me a longtime, afraid if I buy bigger and use it more ill get sick of the scent which happened before with a fragrance I liked but not loved which was armani code sport
Lhomme is officially "must own" to me. I smelled La Nuit and it was like, "Ehhhh...." but then again like you said. The feminine nose can be different.
Very comprenhensive and honest video like usual. I'm fond of ysl l'homme since 10 years now. It's my usual fragrance. Never considered of layer la nuit de l'homme first, but that might be a good idea to have the ginger spark first and then the sensual warm cardamome in the dry down.
Love your amazing view on ysl fragrance’s, if I layer l’homme and la nuit will it help with longevity? Plus over spraying maybe? Oh and I’m a big fan of yours.
First fragrance that I had was Harley Davidson Red in my Highschool years and then got discontinued. After a few years I discovered la nuit de l homme and was exact the same as Harley Davidson red. I was so happy and nostalgic, even today this Parfume is my signature sent and don’t even care that it’s so popular. I all so liked very much Gaultier 2 unisex but got disconnected as well …don’t know why so many awesome fragrances get reformulated or discontinued.
I had 3 bottles of bleu electrique but gave one to my uncle for his bday. Later came up as a rumor that’s it’s discontinued but others were saying it was just a stock issue.
YSL made it pretty clear it’s discontinued at least in the US. The fragrance can’t be found in their website unless you go through a direct link on google. It’s done in the US.
La Nuit is definitely an awesome scent. But the reformulated version has almost no longevity. The Original formula lasted like 12 plus hours. What a shame because the smell is sooooo sexy. Nice review as always

You should try la nuit eau de parfum. Darker sexier, more mysterious than the orginal. But people are sheep on RU-vid. First now people realize that eau de parfum is very good, and was hated for the wrong reasons, and people starting to do positive videos on it.
I actually prefer fragrances I can overspray. That’s my crux with Givenchy. If I am not thinking and just spray 3 sprays by default, it’s too strong for people in the room. I’d rather have a fragrance I can spray over a wide area of my body; arms, wrists, chest, back of shoulders, neck, and stomach. I find the silage and scent bubble to be more pleasant this way. I can’t do this with a powerhouse like Pi but I can with L’Homme.

I bought bleu because of the hype and... Didn't live up to expectations, tried La Nuit de L'homme at a store and they both seem really similar at least opening wise I'll get l'homme and La Nuit later on this journey but even if performance is bad I find the scent good, clean and unoffensive to people which makes it perfect for overspraying
La Nuit is the perfect cuddling fragrance. If you have a special someone already in your life, wearing La Nuit in the evening is very romantic. In public, it does get noticed. I really like the soft projection of it. I have other fragrances to wear if I need stronger projection.
@@delfinijo5331 I don't have it anymore and it's been really long, but if you want something close to it J by fragrance world is 95% similar and unless you have the OG side by side, there is gonna be no difference and no one will notice
Can La Nuit de lhomme be worn to parties? What about more formal parties and family events? From the sounds of, it can be pulled off at parties and formal parties, but may be too much for family events.
La Nuit gets powdery and Woody on the dry down making it more unique were as the most wanted stays pretty linear with the fruity cardomom the whole time.
Them "It's just a nightime fragrance." Me: "Look girl I need to be sexy all day!" lol. now for me I've noticed everything i love, they say is a nightime scent, I think i have a type.
