Am waiting to hear a voice that will ever match Tuku's. Every single day of our 4 years at our University in Kenya we danced to your music. Rest in peace.
I left South Africa at the age of 6 and now 27... At times i have forgotten my true identity but this song for some reason always reminds me that I will always be "African".
Mr. Torren you're right man. I was born in North Africa and I grew up there. I know I'm a white African because I can't sit still when I hear this kind of music.

I agree ❤ Ladysmith Black Mambazo is the best acappella group of all time and Oliver is amazing ❤ I saw Ladysmith Black Mambazo in concert in Boston one year ago. Love, from the USA.
This is 2022 this song still lives on, I love my Africa rhythm. The steps of the dance is out of this world. Thank you for representing Africa. Love from Nigeria ❤
Africa is for Africans, stand up my brother, my sister, my mother, my father, my children, my friend and every one born from Africa. You are Africa, One Africa One United States. Fight for your land, never be ashamed of your original be a hero of Africa. Stop thinking like to be born in Africa is a case no but it's a blessing trust me. That's why you see USA, Europeans keep coming to steal from our land, I love you all.
Too adorable.. First saw them at Curries Fountain with Juluka. Running late, we were evicted by the riot squad for pass law curfew - 15.00 hrs. Met Joe, Hugh and Miriam etc. backstage and jawl in Brussels, Paul Simon Concert. Proud white Zulu boy.
This song reminds me of the early 1980s when I was a student at UCE in Bulawayo Zimbabwe. It reminds a great song long after time. I do listen to it and sing it to my wife.
Two great heroes who worked together while they were still alive are going to meet in haven and reunite as great heroes friends again..I wish them to reunite AFRICA as they did when they were still alive.
This is so melodious you could listen to it a million times without getting bored. Tuku is a music giant. The way he blends in with Mambazo makes me a very proud Zimbabwean first and African second. It's sad there is noone to take after Tuku the same way Joseph's son has taken over from his father.
When I was a little girl in South Africa, my Dad was single parenting. My baby brother and I had beautiful African Nanny Elizabeth whom I loved very much. This music takes me back, I love it. Africa has a very special place in my heart. Now in my 50s, I will always remember Elizabeth and how lovely she was to my brother and I. She would carry my brother around on her back with a wrap and do the same for me with my doll. Special memories. Where ever you are Elizabeth... you are forever in my heart. 💕
I loved Oliver for being an international African particularly Zimbabwean artist. What an example he established for all our artist. Let us get an example.
Rest in peace our legends,African legends Bab Oliver Mtukudzi and Bab Joseph Shabalala African Continent and the whole world will never be the same again without y'all😥💔😭
