I've been meaning to tell you, I started to watch your channel for the lake levels, but I'm staying as you're awesome, knowledgeable and just a great father son team. Senior, Junior, keep being awesome!

Fun fact: The guy that invented velcro looked to burrs that he was getting stuck in his clothes to make velcro. He looked at the stuck burrs under a microscope and saw the "hook n loops", his mission from there was to artificiality produce it and did. Thanks for another great video guys, stay safe!

*1960(s) Glaspar G-3* with extended planning chine. The last one was built in 1968. This was a "drag"/ racing / ski boat. The tell-tale is the blunt bow. Glastron also had a similar model but the blunt bow was slightly rounded. The Glaspar G-3 had a stern plane chine, but It looks like the chine on this one was custom modified to flatten the stern all the way to the keel. This helps the boat "climb out of the hole" at slower speeds - makes it good for racing and multi-person skiing.

Was just in Henderson, drove by a road where the Lake should of been and seeing it in real life is truly shocking and sad how low the water is!!

I grew up up in South Carolina and they discovered a brain eating amoeba in Lake Hartwell after a woman died. Pretty crazy and random, very sad for those unlucky folks.

I can see why you guys are such a popular channel! It's been a great time watching you all this summer till now! I actually look forward to watching your videos and you're so much like my family was growing up! I was baiting lines and fishing every chance I had from a baby till almost now! My whole body except my head was paralyzed from a fall! I was just a head for a bit and definitely the scariest thing I can think of to go thru!! But I recovered pretty good and should probably be able to fish! and I pray maybe even get to hunt again on as long as I stay on a path! By next year!! When someone helps me be able to show you a picture of my mount! A 16 point whitetail buck I shot! Right here in New Hampshire! So I grew up in a family just like yours and it's the best way to grow up that I could ever imagine! I've been right where you guys are! And I've been inside that dam on a tour and looked out over the lake from the top of that dam and it's huge! A super sized dam and lake Mead is huge! And although it was still down from where it used to be back in time in 1990! It was still super full and way way higher than the original holes they built to divert the water while they started building it!! When I was there way way back, there were 2 towers big towers! One on each side of the dam that I think were running a couple generators does senior remember what I'm talking about? I was born in 75 so I think he's just a little younger than me? Does he know what I'm talking about? What did they do with those. If it's lower than their intakes? Also! Have you guys ever been ice fishing in the winter, on a frozen lake? If not, then omg! You haven't lived till you at least try it! I haven't had elk or antelope! Have you had moose meat! You guys are my people!! 😀

Have been watching your channel for a while and really enjoy the family atmosphere and the outdoors. On today's news in Waco TX, they interviewed the daughter of one of the victims of Lake Mead. It was her father who drowned about 20 years ago while boating at night and his remains were located by 2 kayakers. Keep up the great stories and Thank you for your service senior.

That boat you were asking about, is an early 1960s “Glasspar G3” it’s a 13 foot fiberglass boat. Hope this helps, my dad had one He ran the Martinez Lake Marina boats and docks, north of Yuma on the Colorado River! Richard Miller

Most recent studies of PAM (primary amebic meningoencephalitis) indicate that most people have antibodies against it. It is far too common in North American warm waters for such infrequent infections. if you are swimming or playing in or near waters above 80 degrees, make sure to wear nose plugs or pincers. Great video guys! Small note - swimmers itch is actually caused by a microscopic parasite (not bacteria) found in waterfoul and their feces! When it comes into contact with a human it tries to burrow into our skin thinking we're a bird, but isn't able to get through our thicker skin. When you leave the water, they end up drying out and dying, causing itchiness and small bumps. Nasty stuff, I've had it a few times! Like having a hundred mosquito bites at once. They can also survive in mollusks, like water snails. If you only have a small body of water to deal with, a copper sulfate treatment should kill any hosts. Additionally if you suspect a body of water has swimmers itch, an immediate rinse off and dry after getting out of the water will help reduce symptoms dramatically, if not completely.

The little burrs that are growing by the leaning boat are called cockle burrs. They are a real pain, especially if your long haired pet gets in them. I remember them as a kid in Alabama.

Those cocklebur bushes are everywhere over here. They're a pain when I get them in my cast net or on my anchor ropes. Keep your long haired pets away from them for sure! Great video guys!
