The next Fast & Furious movie drops soon, so that means more Hot Wheels Premium. Some bummer repeats, but a couple of must-haves too. Let's check them out.
This is what I call Recycling castings 😂 by Mattel I don’t know who repeats more Mattel with the Fast and furious cars castings or Universal studios with their fast and furious movies 😂 I wonder why can’t they get the Mitsubishi eclipse spyder. And if they want to repeat castings repeat the cool good ones not the worst of them plz 😂
I honestly don't mind too much that there are repeats as I am more of a casual collector and so I don't try my hardest to get to the shops in time for particular castings so I often miss it. The repeats give me some time to get the castings that I want but wasn't able to find it initially
i agree i also do like that toyota especially that repeats to pair it with the one from toyota set despite its not the biggest difference. Same opinion for the Supra R34 they made haha i kinda like that too, main reason i got it.
The Land Cruiser is my fav here but it also seems odd as a as a car in that series too. I mean in the movie or not how many people think of the movies Fast & Furious and think oh Toyota Land Cruiser?
Love the 69 Camaro and the baby blue color BUT the movie car was a medium metallic blue ( like the artwork) like dyeing Tyrese's hair blond. The FJ is cool, too
I've said it before. You don't have to be a F&F fan to like the F&F castings. If you really are a car guy, there are bound to be one or two that you like. You don't have to like every single one. The problem is I think they've run out of cars, so now it is mostly repeats.
@@neihomai8 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Red Dodge Daytona, Red Tokyo Drift Lancer etc. I wish they'd get a license from EA to produce some of the iconic Black Box Era NFS cars, I want that BMW GTR and Darius R8
@@neihomai8 From the first movie we still haven’t seen the black “Heist” Honda civic, or the white civic from the street race, or the red Integra from the same street race, or Hectors gold Type R, or Mia’s blue Integra, or Vince’s blue Maxima, or the Ferrari 355 from the highway drag race 2 Fast 2 Furious we’re still missing the red Dodge Stealth from the prelude, the grey Corvette from the highway race, the yellow Viper from the same race, the red Saleen Mustang from the same race, or the purple Mitsubishi Spyder that Roman drives Tokyo Drift we’re missing the iconic Veilside rx7, the red Viper from the opening scene of the movie, the red Evo, the gold 350Z, the Blue & silver 350Z, Neela’s RX8, or the grey Silvia S15 from the very end of the movie And that’s just the first 3 movies. There’s still 7 more after this. And yeah I know some of these aren’t hot wheels models yet but they’ve added new models as F&F cars before
@@tylerhobart5484 I never really watched the movies, so I wouldn't know. I just figured with so many repeats they had run out. One of my favorite castings is the gold 60s Nova, which I think was only on screen for a second or two.
so they still didnt fix the fitment of the rear wheels of lykan or you just put the original on the turntable? another thing, the plymouth had a wing which the casting also had but i dont get why they went with the wingless one
Yea I like the fitment on the black one the red Lycans wheels always slide back inside the fenders because of the narrow wheels😂 one side is inset the other side is poked or tucked
For me, being a massive fast and furious fan and trying to collect this whole line, love when you get details specific to fast and furious. The ones with the minor details specific to F&F are my favorites. Mostly the ones with spot on number plates. Like the yenko camero. Wich I have managed to pick up.
Just picked up Mix 1, and from what I grabbed I really was excited. That orange R34 was unforgivable. I love it when they do the non-specific no graphic cars. The Jenko, and the Toyota are clean.
So weird they didn't use the correct exposed headlights casting for the Yenko Camaro. And even weirder that the card doesn't mention it's the Yenko. One of the most iconic versions of the real car.
I’m glad this one’s finally out! Set C is gonna be fire! Wish Mattel would put the same size wheels on all there cars with maybe a few drag cars that have different sizes…
When the red F&F Lykan first came out, it was kind of a "meh" casting with the skinny rear wheels. When they brought out the black one for Boulevard, the fatter rear wheels made ALL the difference in the world. Turned it into an epic casting. I don't know why they didn't fix that with the red re-release.
Since I've been out of hot wheels for a few years i missed out on the lycan hypersport. So I'm happy with a repeat! I said when F&F 2 movie came out I'd watch them forever. And it's happened. Never guessed they'd make this many movies. Same with the cars. I'll buy them all. Still don't have an original green eclipe.. so waiting for one of those to
I just wish if they are going to do repeats, please give us the cars that we really want. The original cars. The cars that are going for 30-50$ and you can’t find. Sorry to those that are sitting on a stack of them.
If they're going to do a raked stance for the '69 Camaro, they really need to give it nice, thick blackwalls for the rear tires instead of the skinny low-profile tires they used. I never saw the Car Culture Toyota set in stores, either because stores around me in Ottawa, Canada never got it or because every single car disappeared from pegs before I saw it, so I'm happy to see the Land Cruiser return. I'm not sure if I'll see this one on pegs either, I haven't seen the past few Fast and Furious premium waves here and I don't think Walmart Canada even has pegs dedicated to Hot Wheels Fast and Furious premium anymore. I might have to take a trip to a certain out-of-my-way supermarket that does seem to get Fast and Furious premium in a month or so or whenever it is that these are supposed to arrive in stores.
I think I have the Grand National ('87 Buick Regal GNX )and the '70 Chevrolet Nova SS from the same set that had the '99 Ford F 150 SVT Lighting and the Land Rover Defender 90 from the "Furious Fleet" line going by my pictures and the last Premium Box set of FF So many F&F in both mainlines and premium, I can see why some claim it's overkill, but people still get them
fast and the furious… I’m furious that we got another fast and the furious set… Lol Mattel has to come out with new castings and new series names and I’m not talking about another Nissan set, or more EV castings
People loves to complain but the only relation between the Fast and furious movies and most of these is the card, Mattel is giving us some incredible clean versions... Also worth mention the 61 Impala, the green Torino, the blue Shelby gt350R, the Hummer H1 and the silver '17 NSX
With the new set coming out we will only be missing two cars from the original movie Edward Acura Integra and the white one that Asian guy drove in the 1st iconic race. And a better version of Hector Honda Civic. And that would be a compset of all the iconic cars in the 1st fast and the furious movie. Let Hot Wheels know we won't them 2 cars and then they can work on the 2 fast and 2 furious iconic cars from that movie.
Just my opinion, i actually prefer the jdm and import F&F castings. The domestic muscle and euro-super cars is kinda, meh. They're nice and cool and all but so many other companies do better castings of them in higher quality for more reasonable prices and easily ordered without scalper prices. So for me, if it's F&F, I only get the jdm aka rice stuff
im happy for rereleases because i dont have them lol but they r all going to be gone and hard to find anyways. its also funny seeing the new fast n furious movie trailer… its not about cars or racing anymore… its all about shooting and action lol just looks like a generic action movie to me 😂
