You can tell Lana doesn't like lying to Kara, she is doing it for Clark. I know it seems very strange to hear words like this coming from Lana, but now that she knows Clark's secret she is going to protect it even if that means lying to Kara for now. Still, I think that Lana should've given Kara better warning about Lex. It might not be her place to tell Kara the family secret, but it is her place to share her experience with Lex in order to protect Kara from making the same mistake she did.
EXCELLENT answer MissSweety4! Some people must be blind not to see how extremely LOYAL is Lana to Clark. LANA is LOVING, PROTECTIVE, SELF-SACRIFICING + she's astoundingly GORGEOUS. She makes every scene in witch she appear SPARKLE. GO LANA YOU ROCK!!!

Thank you rebukey for your support and your wise words. My buttons were pressed and I had to say it in capital letters. It's always the same people popping-up to bash Lana's character for no consistent reason. Their heavy words exceed the limits; there is a person behind the character!!! Gosh! Let's enjoy this great show & amazing cast. We all know that Lana will do everything to help Clark in the coming episode. She will team with Kara & Chloe to rescue him.
LANA has had to put up with Clark's gaslighting for far longer than anyone else on the show. And it affected her more because she loved him dearly and he always said he loved her. It also led her into Lex's life. We all know how that turned out. Jacked that girl's life up. I swear more Lana haters need to take a closer look at HER life starting from the first episode. Not just her being in CLARK'S life. She was tortured emotionally on this show and still came across as a strong individual to me. She deserves mad respect!
Dear sweetie, I love every member of Smallville cast & I can't imagine the show without one of them. Even if we have different ships, I expect from my fellow fans due respect for every character. You love Chloe, and I love Chloe, but I don't see what Chloe has to do with this "Lana-Kara" clip. As far as I know no one said anything wrong about her. My reply was for the people always bashing Lana gratuitously. Please, let us enjoy peacefully this awesome show. We're all Smallville fans!
Totally agree with you. Lana was my favorite character throughout the series. But everyone did a marvelous job. You mentioned Lana bashing from fans. Well, we are freely expressing ourselves. The key is, don't take their bashing personally. The show is fiction. Fans are passionate and have an emotional stake in the series. Let people rant and vent their feelings. Of course you don't have to read any comments.
Probably because she knew from the very beginning that it would prevent their relationship. Later, at the end of ‘Visage’, Lana said she didn’t care if Clark had any secrets. She kept her word until season 3 when he left all his beloved ones. That’s why she started again asking him to tell her the truth because she was afraid it (his leaving) would repeat. And she was right (the end of ‘Hypnotic’). Do you remember the last episode of season 9? Lois demanded Clark to tell her the truth because his secret was about to ruin their relationship. When he refused to do it, she nearly betrayed him. Here, after learning Clark’s secret, Lana finally realized he had been hiding the truth not because he didn’t trust her but wanted to _protect_ her. It’s seen on her face when she _has to_ to lie to Kara to protect her. When the latter demanded to tell her the truth, Lana remembered Clark’s feelings when he _had to_ keep his secret.
I do not understand why people hate my wool. If she was the one who suffered me and was left with no one in the end you seem very unfair to the character. In her opinion she loved clark yet she always sacrificed for him. FOR IT IS ALWAYS WILL BE CLANA
It’s funny in the second half of Reckoning, Lana immediately knows Clark is lying to her. So now instead of telling Kara the truth she does the same exact thing Clark was doing! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
@@Flower-x6c I would excuse that if she didn’t have secrets and lies of her own! Even before she knew about Clark she constantly called people out for hiding stuff from her when in reality she hid stuff of her own and lied to her friends and family. It just makes her look like a total hypocrite but now we’re supposed to understand? Give me a fucking break!
