If the fittings aren't leaking can you just cut the two pipes and reconnect using the connectors you supply when refitting?

These 2 pipes are not pressure pipes they r designed to keep out water entering the compressor from the road or rain or going through a stream ,they also are designed to quieten the outgoing and incoming air thats all .you can disconnect them on a sunny day and the system will still work but you will hear the compressor sucking air and expelling air when suspension goes down ,the pipe diameters are 8mm and 10mm in diameter.

Yes providing your rrs is fitted with the OEM Hitachi their can be 1 of 3 compressors fitted
