Um, a REAL father, doesn't hype up his kids. He lets their talent dictate how good they are. So far, he's hyped Lanzo in an extremely unrealistic level. Doing so, has placed both pressure and a target on their backs, and Vets are going to come gunning for him. So far, he's been an above average player, who has flashes of greatness,. but, they're just flashes. 4 years inot the NBA, he's averaging 14.2 point per game. Kobe, his 4th year in, was doing 28.4. His dad is hyping them up for ONE reason: Building the brand, which, makes him money. Period.

The tough part is seeing how much he has to be told to do things/influenced by what others have to say. It's like he's a body and lavar is his mind. "I tell him to win, he goes out there and wins" "we don't want you to shoot, how is he supposed to play like that?" At the end of the day, it's Lonzo making the decisions on the court. Seems to me that he doesn't trust himself enough to have 100% conviction and play as aggressively as some others would love to see.
