Sorry to say but this dude is a genius. favourflav 2 production and overhead is tough. Being an entrepeneur is stuff. He wouldve had to pay out 0$ in capital/overhead and made millions by signing with nike. Instead he does this. He will be rich because his sons basketball talent but he is not making smart business decisions so far. I assume he is losing $ on this shoe project

favourflav 2 not factoring in the net gain. You need to purchase labor/materials. Its not a great investment. Theres a reason 99% just sign with nike, adidas. James harden and kevin durant have 200+ million dollar shoe deals with adidas and nike where every penny is a net gain. Prove yourself on the court as a bball player and people will hand you money. Corporations will make sure he doesn't win by hook or crook because if he does it will take market share away from companies like Nike, Under Armour, and Adidas who are already competing against each other. If these companies allow Lavar to succeed what is to stop anybody behind Lavar from doing the same thing without going through these companies. They will find something on him from his past or twist his words to destroy him.

Actually his strategy is very good, by having his shoe price at 495 he has caught a lot of atention, and by releasing it before lonzo is even drafted, eliminates the possibility of the shoe not selling cause of lonzo not playing very well and at that price if only 6,000 people buy the shoe, that is over 3 million dollars. He is insane but a Smart businessman
