I don’t think she should be anywhere except for a jail cell before her trial. She has already proven that she is a flight risk and she would manipulate her family while on house arrest to testify the way she wants them to… as she has been the family’s manipulative mastermind for ages. It also concerns me that Donna has chosen to have Casey Anthony’s lawyer represent her.

She will never get out, her attempting to leave the country to a country that we don't have a treaty with makes her ineligible on its own but her also talking suicide or even speaking about it in order to get out of justice also makes her ineligible, It's just not legally possible no matter what people on Twitter are claiming.

This woman has ruined her family . Her son is serving life imprison, her grandchildren lost their father and her daughter is complicit but not arrested. It is minding blowing.

My daughter’s internship in criminology was to listen to jail calls on behalf of the DA.

I am confused. If she is being mistreated and unable to talk to family or counsel how is all this information becoming public?

How did her lawyer find out about all of these cruel things if she couldn’t talk to her attorney? Too many details to just find out from Harvey in a 5 minute phone call.

It's disturbing for me to hear this. I have been wanting justice and have been wanting her arrested. I just can't believe neither her nor her son could foresee this. So many people have suffered over their actions. What a train wreck. She's not going to last very long under these circumstances. I understand completely why someone told her that's what happens to murderers. Someone should have told her that 10 years ago. Apparently, she doesn't see herself as a murderer.

I have a son who just started law school a few months ago because of your channel and one other lawyer's channel. I was so happy he made this choice, he is inspired by your personality and work. At present she’s presumed innocent and is entitled to humane treatment. However, she has no right to five star accommodation. She’s definitely a flight risk and since her whole family is enmeshed in this saga, communication with them can’t possibly be a good idea.

If she wants out so bad...put her in a criminal psych facility. Of course she wants to "speak to her family." She wants to control the conversation/testimony of everyone. She perhaps is the MOST devious of the Adelson's. I do think if they allow ANY of her requests, they will regret it as she would be demanding special treatment. I don't trust anything that comes out of her mouth. She very well could be lying about ALL of what she is claiming. IF she has been mistreated, of course that needs to be brought to light.

Ha!! She's not going to be treated special and she's having a rude awakening to life in prison. Most people in the outside world have no idea what the conditions are like in jails and prisons across the country. They have no idea how bad some places are. A lot of people think criminals don't deserve to have even basic stuff like hot water for showers. So when an upper class pampered person like her gets shoved into these places, she has a harsh reality check that people could be treated like that. She would gladly say criminals don't deserve *insert basic decent thing* in prison until she finds herself in that box. And now she will make a ruckus about it because she has to live like the normal people. She deserves all the lumpy pillows, cold nights and freezing showers these facilities will dish out to her.

She's not getting her narcissistic supply. Of course she's losing it, happens when they don't get their way.

If more attorneys looked like you, we'd like attorneys more. Definitely would be quicker to go talk to them if they had your demeanor.

I completely agree with your comments around @12:40. Jailers and prison staff shouldn't take their own misery out on the people brought in. They should be respectfully professional and of civil high standards and values, setting a" high road" example. Like you said, let the process take its course in court. I must have missed you mentioning it, but I just heard Emily D Baker say Dan Markel was one of your professors. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know having a good prof makes such a huge difference. I remember all the ones that made a huge impact on me, and my parents were both college prof's. They were very loved by their students and I was really proud, and still am, to know that they touched so many lives. I hope that his family, friends, and law community will get the full justice you all deserve. 😢

The Leon County jail is short on funds & staff. They often get locked down for fake reasons, so folks can't visit.

I went to jail before .. unfortunately a few times .. but every time I or someone would complain about something. We’d be told “ don’t like it, don’t come to jail” this ain’t a “hotel” some of the COs are just plain rude and disrespectful. I told one once I prayed I see her outside the jail one day 😂 . I’ve changed my life around now 😂😂

I appreciate your take, this was the convo I had with my kid. When people that work in the system act out with their emotions towards inmates, it interferes with the case overall. We have to commit to advocating for justice for all, otherwise we risk murderers getting grounds for appeals where they can't be held accountable. Ie, Murdaugh. Let's not screw up any more trials. Human rights are not luxuries, they are basic necessities and it does us no good to deny anyone their human rights.

After weeks of seeing Adelsons, Best, Gardners you are absolutely a sight for sore eyes.

She’s got some very valid concerns here. That doesn’t mean she should get out of jail, but it seems like the jail is treating her very badly because of their staff’s contempt for her and her family. This is not normal treatment. If nothing else, maybe this is normal treatment for everyone. in which case, that’s a huge problem, and it’s good that one of the few inmates with the means to do so is able to hire attorneys that can bring it to light and find it. She is innocent until proven guilty

I'm amazed of all the people who think cruelty in jail is alright for those who you think are guilty.Assuming this is all happening to her, put youself in her shoes.What if this happened to you and you were innocent and the jailers are making it impossible for you to prepare for trial and refuse to give you your vital medications. The document said that they are delaying giving her heart medication. Do they actually want her to die or be completely incapacitated b4 and/for her trial? She could have a heart attack or stroke worrying about her medication alone. She is innocent until proven guilty, so she must be treated as close to that as possible. Even after she is found guilty, it is not appropriate to refuse vital meds. Imagine if your mother was in jail for something she did not do and she died or became extremely ill - how would you feel? Regardless of what we think about those who are arrested, until they are found guilty, everyone must be treated as if they are innocent. There's been enough times when everyone thought a person was guilty and they end up being innocent. In order for justice to work for the innocent, it has to work for EVERYONE. And BTW, do we really want the case to get an appeal because of such cruelty? It's best to do it right the first time. Otherwise, we have what is going on with Murdaugh's case, costing money and court time to deal with a man's appeal, who we all think is guilty, after he was found guilty. Nonetheless, in order to ensure justice as far as we can, EVERYONE has to have fair trials and reasonable treatment in jail before and during trial.

Psych RN here...most of the time people who are found incompetent don't ask for ask for a psych evaluation...bc of their state of incompetence...

The state wants her to be able to talk on the phone so they can continue to monitor and get more evidence.

Jail ugh I cringe. I'm grateful for everyday that I'm not in there. Served 16 with half in LA County due to a drug related offense. I've been arrested many times because of my addiction and yes they treat you like crap. Not all COs or sheriffs, but definitely a lot. Remember, she's in jail right now not prison. Prison is when you're sentences to over a year unless they keep you in County like they did me because mine was non violent

I thought I remembered reporting that there were recordings of her jail calls w/ Charlie wherein she discussed either Self deletion or a one-way ticket to non-extraditionland. So them having recordings of her threatening self harm would surely cause her to have limited access to items, utensils, etc.

Appalling that pre trial detainees are being treated in this way. I doubt if there is a soul alive that does not believe she is guilty and no way should house arrest even be a consideration but I am a registered nurse and I have never heard of this type of inhumane treatment being given to patients undergoing psychiatric assessment. - particularly if they are suicidal. Is the idea to try and make them worse or something? You would think the jail system would be above this BS and guards treating inmates in a degrading or unprofessional manner should be instantly dismissed. Disgusting.

My daughter worked in the mental health office of a North Carolina prison and from her eyewitness accounts abuse and neglect of prisoners is common. She also experienced great resistance from the administration, prison staff, on mental health interventions, etc. prison staff was also disrespectful to her, sexual comments, etc. she reported it and it was ignored. I am a retired therapist and find her stories…well…disgusting. Prison environments in this country are abusive in nature, and I think encourages staff to go along with the status quo in how prisoners are treated.

BTW, how many of us thought Pawtrow was trying to get away with special privileges because she is rich and a celebrity to keep her from facing the consequences of what we thought were her actions only to find out that she was innocent? This is what I mean. We can assume what we want, but justice done right for everyone is the only chance that the innocent can win.

I feel like there is is something related in the fact that she “felt uncomfortable” discussing her medications with the health care professional who I would assume was wearing a mask and the fact that she missed some of her medications. Sounds like they are making an excuse for why she didn’t cooperate with medication reconciliation then are blaming the jail for not giving the medications. At the best of time medication for chronic conditions can be challenging when newly institutionalized even in a hospital…if you don’t cooperate it gets way worse. The rest of the stuff I am uncertain about my opinion of but those 2 facts in conjunction seem fishy.
