This video should help our customers understand the lead causes of power loss and oil leakage from our velocity stacks on the S1000RR and M1000RR (K66/K67) BMW platforms. Hopefully this answers all your questions and help our customers get those advertised power gains.
This video can also be applied to the S1000R, S1000XR, M1000R, M1000XR.

@2:45 I've seen this on two different bikes(2022 K66& 2020K67 with the original airbox) that have had the air box removed one was to install stacks and the other I'm not sure exactly what was going while it was at the dealership but that bike had 8032miles on it and 20+ miles that were normal after leaving the shop. Both plugs were tight feeling but almost fooled me because it looked like they were clicked in but when I easily tugged on them they pulled right off. I'm glad you shared this with us because every little tip you can count on while trouble shooting is priceless to me so thank you man.

Can you please do a video doing a dyno run with just a tune, filter ,and Iat kit. Then doing a dyno run with the stacks to see the before and after power gains.

You guys have great customer service, my '23 S1Krr and my '18 S1Krr (previous) bikes enjoy/enjoyed your parts and tuning. I will be a return customer in the future, for a 3rd time lol.

I just sent an email about getting the rubber gaskets, I’ve been concerned about this oil issue since 2022, thanks for coming up with a solution. Hope the catch can is released soon, looking forward to it!

On the breather hose from the crank case that is now blocked off at the airbox, is there a filter at the end of that hose or just a raw open end ?

They had a filter in the kit for my '23. With the factory oil level (and it was correct), on the first oil change, I already had a substantial amount of oil in my airbox. I finally got around to the bypass about 2 weeks ago when doing the full exhaust. Currently at 2016 miles. I know the filter will need to be checked and cleaned before the next oil change (3,000 miles or less for me), so I am waiting on the catch can kit they come up with. I had to do almost the same thing to my 2021 HD Sport Glide, when it was brand new also.
