Really like the suspension explanation. I have always loved the 8 bag KW ride.

Cuddo's to Kenworth the W990 is an instant classic , great explanation of how different suspensions handle torque & rough roads.

I love the dual stacks and those fighter jet style air intakes. You did a great job of providing an appropriate level of interior appointments to keep the price reasonable. The best is disc brakes all around. Thanks for the info on the rear suspension. Very helpful.

Air intake is a great replacement for the old round breather. So i'm happy with it just as it is. Another good topic, keep up the good work.

Great video! I'd love to see the Photoshop of the air intake, and looking forward to the videos on disc brakes and all the other great stuff you present. It sounds like this truck was ordered without a specific customer lined up - is that a big portion of your business, and do you get any guidance from Kenworth, a network of dealers, etc., on how to build the truck?

Do you have a personal preference over Rockwell or Eaton when it comes to differentials and axle/ brake components?

Personally I like the chrome air scope. It adds distinction to the W990.

Can you render a color matched air intake and a delete of the intake?

I've been seeing more KWs with those little gutter things around the outside of the door windows. What are those and can they be ordered? My T680 could use those.

The Limited Edition interior is top notch for sure, but this interior is probably the next best option.

Is this still a torque reactive suspension? Or is more towards the euro and Volvo primex non tq reactive?

That would be more like a scoop than cal induction from what I can see. Hummm 🤔my spidey engineering sense says there is a way to have the best of both worlds ... a scoop (for low speeds) that uses a baffle to switch to induction (for high speeds) once a certain velocity resistance is obtained (via sail switch) and it would look just like it does now.... just a thought.

Why not put step on driver side instead of climbing on fuel tank if not putting steps on both sides

Im still not sold on that new body style. However would be cool to get big breathers on the sides of the hood instead of that set up

Alot of areas like truck stops its getting harder to get 24.5 what happene if u change to 22.5 after the fact is it going to change anything

I don't mind the air intakes at all. Gives it a modern look. Lot of cars have something similar to it, Chevy Camaro and the Toyota Camry are a few examples.

Do you have any 6x2 lift axels like in Europe? Almost every 3 axel truck here is 6x2 lift axel. I'm from Finland 😀

I don't care old round or new ... ua induction(?) can I get it without any chrome? Or better yet, could I get two shades of black with black to red/yellow flames and a silk looking HOT RED bra on the front of the young thing? The more I look at it, the more I like the lines of the new induction ... it's kinda growing on me.

the ACC is junk my truck has it and gives me Whiplash sometimes because it thinks a road sign is a car and Slams on the brakes for a second also take off the air intake

I hate the "smart" steering wheel. I have yet to see any that do not inadvertently allow you to flip a switch while turning the wheel. And that goes for every vehicle that has one.

I can understand why the front end of the body has changed. For better air flow over the truck. Compared to the w900. The air cleaner being shaved may help with aerodynamics. I personally have always been a Kenworth fan. Especially the w900. This w990 I think is an ugly truck. That big shiny air scoop on the side of the hood. Sticks out like a sore thumb. It’s very ugly. Would look less ugly is it was painted same color at the body

I am sorry but the 8 bag system is the worst suspension system around. Gets stuck the most and rides like garbage. Worst suspension system around!
