I’m not even a basketball fan and I can tell this take is beyond goofy. If nothing else, the impact of bringing more fans in cannot be underestimated. The man is an all time great.

I totally agree with you, his team was much better then his opponents, almost always he needs some superstar(s) around him to pull team to finals. Miami Heat during his era even without him would be championship favorite. It was sad always how he push his teammates development, actually his stats is inflate by ball hugging and not playing defense (taking uncontested defense rebounds)

Exactly .. and MJ made Pippen. Meanwhile, Kobe and Shaq complemented each other.. Tony P Manu and Duncan.. The GSW team before Durant. Lebron Kev Love and Kyrie were already seasoned before Lebron.. Detroit was another put together team. Magic and Kareem 🎉.. Used to have him in my top 5.. but in the last handful of years I have picked up on his mentality and tactics.. I don't know where to put him now. trying to weasel his way into goat status through narritives. He wants to make it all about stats and not winning. Stuffing stats that have no value so he can be praised. Far far from the mentality of a great competitor. He's way down the list

His resume, accolades, per game statistics, records etc… state there is ZERO case for him not at least being a top ten player ever, therefore he could not ever be “the most overrated player ever” that’s just dumb.

I’ve watched a bunch of basketball and a lot of really good basketball players over the years and I have NEVER watched a great basketball player with an uglier game than LeBron. Everything LeBron does looks like it’s “hard” to do. It’s not smooth, it’s not fluid. It just never looks pleasing to the eyes. He is skilled, but he is also not that skilled if that makes sense. He has no way of getting around a one on one unless it’s thru another player. I mean, that’s cool too but it’s not.

Can’t believe you used foul calling as a benefit when Lebron shoots such a low percentage of free throws considering how much he attacks the basket. Dude is averaging 25 on 53% shooting, shooting a lot more 3s than in his prime…. Now you’re going to tell me this efficiency was inflated when he was in his late 20s/early 30s? GTFOH. And you are going to use missed shots as evidence when he has a better overall efficiency than any non-center in the top 10 scoring list? A list which he will have a healthy 2-4 thousand point lead on 2nd place by the time he’s done? In MJ's days, even when he didn't win a championship yet, Bird described him as God in gym shorts. They respect your KING's game, but even the greatest players who faced MJ were afraid of him because of how dominant he was. I wasn't even born yet when MJ was in his prime, but basing off of stats (may it be accumulative or per game stats), accomplishments, the impact each one had on the game, the fear/respect other players had for each one of these to GOATS, how they played the game, the era they played in, and more, I would still say MJ is better than Lebron. Not saying that Lebron is bad, he's great, but he's just not MJ.
