Learn the basic about the difference between the equitable and registered mortgage. Both these type of mortgages are valid in India.
While equitable mortgage is done by way of submission of title deeds between bank and borrower, in registered mortgage sometimes title deeds are not involved and further, mortgage agreement need to be registered with Govt. department.
