Leg Extension, Curl & Hip Thrust at Home | Band Workout

Hello everyone!
If you have high resistance bands at home, this workout will definitely isolate your quads, hamstrings and glutes!
All other need is a band and an object to wrap it around or under! And the higher resistant band you have, the better!
For all of those gym goers who are missing the leg extension and curl machine, this works the muscles in same path of motion... just play about with positioning to get it perfect!
The hip thrust can be replicated with bands especially if they are highly resistant... the band I used was definitely firing up my glutes!!!
The follow along workout itself consists of the following:
Seated leg extension
Lying leg curl
Hip thrust
All 3 exercises have been paired with the same timing as follows:
Full range
Half reps/pulses
Full range
Hold
Full range
All for 30 seconds each and continually on same leg. Then change to opposite leg.
The hip thrust of course is just one set as you using both legs however if your band is not providing enough resistance I would suggest single leg hip thrust, then completing time for one leg then opposite.

2 years ago.....soooo glad on this little beauty of a gem! Love love love the portable workouts with bands. We often full time in our RV or travel somewhere warm for the 6 months of winter and these portable workouts, short and sweet strength training focused workouts, are my favorite! Thank you so much Carolyn for filming your ideas and getting them edited and put together. We have a channel too so we understand the work that goes into it, so we thank you very much!

Just did this as an add-on. I used the extension machine for the quad extensions, with 4.5 kg, and let me just say that it was sooooo difficult!

You are the real deal! What motivates you to train and drive yourself so hard. Fascinating to watch you and learn from your modest training instruction style. I think you have hpnotised and sucked me in, not hard when you are as charming / beautiful. Great stuff Caroline

Awesome Tom! Exercise for me is taking 20 minute, 30, 60 (doesn’t matter long long as intensity over duration)minutes to become stronger mentally and physically! Cx

Hi Caroline, I love your resistance band workouts! I stared this week and I've followed a different resistance band workout of you everyday. I was wondering if you could reccommend a week schedule with the bands? I've come up with: Monday: Upper body Tuesday: Glutes Booty Wednesday: Legs workout Thursday: Back & biceps Friday: Shoulders Saturday: Abs & glutes Sunday: Rest day But you have so much more! I don't know which ones to choose. Can you please help? ps. I'm a mom of a one year old son, wanting to get back in shape and loose the babyweight (25 kg).

Hello Ann! Thanks for your question! All the videos will burn calories (which will contribute to fat loss) but certainly the higher intensity workouts or leg workouts would tend to burn more calories but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are better than say a back workout with dumbbells. When you build muscle you will burn more energy overall than having less muscle on your body! I would suggest the higher intensity workouts(HIIT workout playlist) at your own pace or leg workouts! Cx

If anyone is here on the suggestion of Matthew Arnold while Caroline is having a wee break in July, hi 👋👋. I found it a nice change, but don't be fooled by the fact it's using bands 😂. It's tougher than you think 👍. Have fun. 👋

Thank you 🖤 🤯😅😵‍💫I spent 20 min to get ready with band, my stationary bike and chair.. 🖇 🥨 🕸 🧵 at the beginning I thought that is a new method of calves depilation! Band went up all the time… so I blocked it with 2kg ankle weights! Wow! That was painful! Solid workout! Hip trust with 20-25kg dumbbells much better! 🦿🦾 - maybe I should buy more resistance band Stronger one! :) but first 2 workouts - omg! 👀👀
