Similar to collecting Tears of Light in TP, you run around in another dimension collecting light objects in order to fill the gauge and get out of there.
Zelda has taught me many things, like: hold those close to you dearly always have courage no matter how hard the task, see it through anything called a "guardian" is shit scary
This is frickin scarier than any game I've ever seen or played. Just looking at this video and hearing the slicing blades of those horrifying sky guardians without even playing it terrifies me.
Z Plosion if you seriously think this game is scary than you haven’t played Majoras Mask or Twilight Princess. OR seen the Guardians from Breath of the Wild.
@@hyrulemythology6055 Even the Guardians aren't scary, I think Majoras Mask was hands down the most scary game, it just always gave a sense of dread... Twilight Princess was dark but not too scary
Hyrule Mythology the guardians in breath of the wild were the easiest opponents ever. Not scary at all. Except the flying ones, those are annoying as hell.
Hyrule Mythology Bruhhhh. Breath of the wild guardians are easy af. If you are scared of them you must be kidding me. Everyone who has played botw for a long time can probably kill these things in 30 seconds. Even the flying ones. Ancient arrow to the shekiah eye on top and boom. Dead. You can’t even fight the skyward sword guardians. They follow u until u beat or fail the trial. The botw ones will stop following eventually.brehhhhhh
I love how this is supposed to be testing Link's courage...yet we, the players, are so scared poopless that we all hesitate leaving the stinking circle and we're all saying how scary this was....
@@kcabra95 😂😂😂 I can relate cuz there was one resident evil game that all my friends and I would always get scared & die at a part in the beginning so we just never played it again 💀💀💀
All these trials stressed me out lol especially the last one. I was thinking about playing the game all over again for a second time but when I got to the trials again I just didn't want to stress. I don't understand why it makes me so cautious and I'm not even in the game lol that music and stuff just really builds up the tension so much! But I love this game
Yeah but it's sad somehow XD I was pretty good at this but I was so scared ! ... I REMEMBER when they pursue me ! (but one time or two I was badass and nailed it majestically XD)
I hate sneak missions in Zelda games, I end up getting way too nervous. When I played through this game the first time I had the guy I was with do these parts for me cause I would get so spaztic when that music would start and the guardians would chase me. Lol
Yeah, I understand for the end thé relief you fell, but I'd rather say it's thé worst part of the game with the Imprisoned battle (especially when he is near the temple and the stressful music is playing)
Disgrace him I hated doing these. They were so freaking scary. Except for the Eldin one; I was already used to it and the music wasn't horrifying. But it was still traumatizing =P Faron Woods was the scariest because it was the first and the music was terrifyings
Shadow I feel like what makes this “scarier” is the fact that the game is more immersive with its graphics and audio, for its time though Majoras Redeads were pretty creepy
The first time I did this I was like "Hey!! Like the Tears in Twilight Princess!! I loved that part!! This is gonna be great!!" Then "Uhh...I have to avoid those things and I don't have my sword?? Ok then..." Steps out of the circle "HOLY SH***T" drops the controller and goes in panic
Also late, but agreed! I thought the tears were pretty fun to look for in Twilight Princess and did not expect to be running around scared shtless 🌝 There's legitimately no time to think here, it's all just a blur of pure panic lmao
So when i first played the silent realm i was like: Me: wow this is so cool! But when i steped out of that circle i was like : Me: color change?! Then those guardians woke up and evrything went to s***. I colected the first tear and then i tryed to calm myself and find the other ones. But just when i colected 14 tears i steped in that walking water and then i screamed: OMG! I'M SO FREAKING DEAD! WHERE IS THE LAST TEAR?! But just when i found it, i got hit by one of the fast guardians. After that i had to collect the tears agian! When i finished the silent realm i closed my wii and i stop playing for like 7 months.
I'm very excited. This is my favourite zelda game of all time and seeing it getting an HD port just brings a nice smile to my face. It's finally time to relive my childhood, but in HD.
I finished it in 6 days. The motion controls are a lot better, but very sensitive too. Button controls take some getting used to. And it is STILL SCARY TO NAVIGATE THROUGH THE SILENT REALMS!!!
"I have confirmed the appearance of a strange mark on the ground" holy shit thanks fi I didnt even see that large glowing flower til you said it was there
Ooooh boy.. I had a slight memory of the tear collecting being in Twilight Princess and not in SS, so after not playing SS in a veeeery long time, I wanted to start again, so I deleted my save after thinking ''The tears were in TP, right? Yeah.. Okay, cool..'' And started the game again. Now after watching these, I am very mad and not looking forward to collecting some fucking tears, DFUUUUUUUUUUUUCKLFGKDESGAWFESHR.
For me, this was totally nerve wrecking. It was like you had to find these things in a time limit and under pressure. My heart was beating so fast and I was sweating. I was even shaking. It was so suspenseful, but fun. It can be really frustrating though :O
OOOOH yeah. I was like, "LINK! RUN FASTER THEY'RE GAINING ON US!" and of course,, Link is running out of stamina and the nearest tear is too far away for him to run to it...
Right?? Lmao my dad was the same way, we all (me and my siblings) all watched my dad play this when we were younger and when the guardians were chasing after him I remember him being more determined than anything else to just beat the trial while me and my siblings were just screaming and freaking out, like "OMG RUN!!! AHHHHH!!!" And he's like "guys chill lmao" 😆 Such good memories 😂
@@lonewolfcello9814 heh I wish my dad thought the same, he thinks that all of the zelda games are for childrens and I shouldn't play to any of the games because I'm too old :,)
omfg the was the game was peaceful with blue light and night time music but with that creepy threat of the guardians everywhere made this one of the most tense experiences of any game. then when the guardians shiver to life, i feel that same shiver travel down my spine. omfg that music, and this environment actually made me so tense. aahhh, they really captured the creepiness of those mechanical guardians so perfectly, especially their robotic sounds aswell. hollyyy fuuckkk
I played this game when I was 12 to 13 years old I hated these trials so much and I don't think of Legend of Zelda as a horror game but these trials were 100% made to freak people out... 😳
@Pikapie2883 same idk how she managed to master those and tbh ik she word hace raged but instead she would keep playing the game XD. Props to her plus the horrible wii controller thing was my death
So I’ve never played skyward sword although I want to at some point and I’d heard of these infamous silent trials and I couldn’t understand why no liked them because the music was so peaceful.. then I watched this video
I really apologize for sounding like I'm bragging, but I was able to do this in my first go (without a guide or knowing anythjng about this beforehand)! Still, the moment I stepped out of the circle, I thought I did something wrong and lost the trial lol.
First and second trials I got first try. The third, I messed up twice. Once when climbing the tower to the right of the beginning while being chased and barely reading it, and one when trying to get on the box and grab the light when jumping off it. I instead missed, landed in the light, and was too panicked to jump properly lol
I still remeber watching my father play this when I was little and whenever the guardians would wake up I will literally panic eventhough I wasnt even playing the game.
While it didn't take me two years, it did make me stop playing the game for a while as well. These areas are my worst nightmare made real. The thought of having someone or something chasing you while you can't do anything about it? Yeah...I'd rather not.
and you collect them all, and you think you're done...but no, make it back to the start! after like 3 tries at this, I finally got them all and was like sweet! then had no idea how to get back to the circle, got seen by one of those ghosts and ran for it, only to run out of stamina and get beheaded right outside the circle...
I'm really glad I'm not the only person that flips shit while playing the trials ._. Scares me.. Because at the end of each trial there's always that ONE that I can't find ._. So I'm running around like a spaz trying not to get hit ._.
I love the silent realms. The first time I played this I was like I need to get all of these with them chasing me?! Fi didn’t tell me that once I got a tear the guardians would stop again.
amg. I did this at midnight and I freaked my head off once I stepped out of the circle. The animation was so creepy =-= Took me about 4 tries. I kept on waking them up. And getting cornered. I hate those stupid ghost with lamps.
I wasn't expecting what happened when I first tried to do it so obviously I went into panic mode. I got caught about half way through. Second time I used the map and it was still stressful af but i managed it much easier that time. And when I got the last tear I was like hell yeah we did bois but the game said I had to go bakc to where I started to leave without waking the guardians. I never wanted to cry so much in my life. But luckily I was very close so I just sprinted and got there luckily😂
So I'm watching this vid, having heard how scary this part of the game is. At the start, I think it's creepy, but nothing too scary. Then, the part at 6:56 happens - and I actually screamed "holy s#*t!" out loud. That actually freaked me the hell out. Great job Nintendo. When I finally get to play this game, I know the Silent Relm Trials are going to give me a heart attack trying to do them.
Only reason why I’m returning to this video is because I had a nightmare about that water and the log to get across. It was really specific and I knew exactly where it was in the game too. Jeez I can’t stand the trials. First time I was stuck on a ledge crying while the flying thing came to me through all the walls and stuff. Just thinking about the trials scares me much more than it should, and the guardians too. Their aggressive running looks spooky af and the sound of the running, and you can see their footsteps catching up to you. Fml I don’t think I’ll ever put myself through that again lol
Funny thing. For a long time I had wondered why I would have anxiety when I heard jingling sounds. I just realized while watching this was that it was because of the watchers.
i think the worst ones were Din's and the *SPOILERS!* skyloft one. the worst guardians are the ones with the lanterns. "cause they wake everyone else up.
The most accurate irl feeling i can think of compared to the gaurdians waking up is that feeling when youre going to bed then turn off the lights and have to run up a dark flight of stairs to hop over the big gap under your bed so nothing grabs you and kills you this is that in videogame form lmao
Thanks for this upload! I just checked figured out the the map only shows 14 tears. The one that's not on the map is on the large plateau at the west edge of the map.
