Another tear-collecting segment, although this time in the Lanayru Desert. The reward from this trial is the Clawshots (aka the double clawshots, in TP terminology).
7:03 when i played this for the first time, that tree was the last tear i needed to get. I was running out of time, so i started panicking and trying to run up the tree. Then I remembered on my last peddle that i could slam into it. I'm so stupid. (:
I- Are you fucking serious-?! That was one one of the last two I needed to get and I was trying to find a way around the damn tree to get it, yet I also forgot we could just same into it?! Why am I this stupid 🥲
This one was the most terrifying for me - I had run out of time and only had one more to get, had no idea where it was and was being chased as I ran around for ages. Realised it was at the top of the temple, ran up there and nearly got hacked to death by like 20 of the flying ones! I got it, but you just cannot explain the intense fear I went through. Nearly pissed myself.
Now that I'm in my adult years, not a lot of suff in video games scares me any more. But in this, when I stepped out and those Guardians were chasing my ass down with that scary music, I was terrified. To still be able to scare me now... good job, Nintendo.
These things they were scared the living hell out of me i was scared shittles when all those beasts ran after me and everytime i failed i was like FUUUUUUUUU these trials nearly made me destroy my damn wii
By some reason you mean, running from large one-hit killing moving statues that chase you doing some loud KLANG KLANG KLANG every step while very stressing music plays? Yeah that's some reason
I swear to God that my heart beats SO fast when ever I get to a trial. I am terrified. I start sweating, shaking and acting as if it's real. Gosh. Great job on the trial, hopefully I won't fail too bad... -.-
6:17 I was down to my last one, the one past all of the earth watchers, there was no way around, so I ran past them, activated the guardians and ran through the ENTIRE DESERT to the finish xD it was the biggest bloodrush of my life
I had a walkthrough the first time I did this one. I ran STRAIGHT PAST THE LAST TEAR (it was this one at 4:29) and the guardian killed me. Straight past it and off the edge. I was about to sling my wii remote into the next country and almost rage quitted. Then, out of pure rage, I ran the whole thing with no walkthrough in my own record time. NEVER was I more frustrated.
I did the first three trials and so far it is the only one I failed. I had 2 tears to go: the one at the very top and the one you have to move the cart in the "revealing liquid". I stepped in the liquid and got chased around for about 6 minutes. I was trying to climb to the top of the dungeon but try to climb stuff while avoiding crazy ghosts that go through walls! I ended up being caught after numerous extremely close calls and tons of stress. I loved it though. Stressful, challenging enough.
Same lol. My dumbass tried to find a way around it to get on top of the tree, but forgot we can just run then do a roll to hit the tree and get the tear 🥲
this one took me 1 try. The last Sacred Tear was the one on the tree you have to roll. I didn't realize that, and when i did, about 20 guardians were after me.
In all honesty I found this trial the hardest, the third is easy compared to this. Man I still remember my heart pounding when I went through all of those lantern guards to get that faraway tear...and got caught on the way back through! DX But somehow I kept running and when the guardian swiped at me he missed! I was lucky because a tear nearby saved me...haven't felt my heart pound so hard in ages :) This is what a game should do to you on parts like this--perfect!
Am I the only one who actually likes being chased by Guardians? It gave the game an actually difficult feel (also for some reason I like it when my heartbeat speeds up). I mean think of Twilight Princess, all you had to do was collect tears of light without a limited time or getting chased by hulking monsters. Also the atmosphere of the Silent Realm was better then that of the Twilight Realm in my opinion.
Replaying this game 8 years later and I actually just refuse to do this one without looking up the video ... 14 year old me was traumatised and 22 year old me is still traumatised !
I wonder what the next musical instrument in a Zelda game will be? We've had ocarinas, a conductor's baton, a harp, grass whistles, pipes, drums, a guitar...Oh, and in Twilight Princess you went wolf and howled songs. lol
Another thing, I got the last tear in exactly the same place...and realised there had to be a secret something at the top of the mine in the real world. I finished the trail, re-climbed to the top, found a chest...a crafting item. I WANTED A HEART PIECE DUDE! XD
@LinkistheHeroofTime By hate, i don't think people mean despise. In a way, its like a horror movie. People enjoy them, but the feeling of fear in them wants the scary stuff to go away while they are in the moment.
@ii0Shmit0ii after you clear the final part of the laynaryu desert (Song of the hero) you unlock a mini game that lets you re-do boss battles and silent realm challenges to try and get better times and earn prizes.
Why does everyone find this so scary?! I literally played this game in 4th grade at 10 years old and had no issue, besides the fact that I kept dying all the time -_- but tbh the only part that scared the living daylight out of me was the godamn skulltulas
first time dude!!!! U LUCKY!!! THNX.......... btw it was cool the end u got near the guardian to take a good look... what sucks is that u collect em all but u have to go to where u come from and if a ghost catches u ur dead again.....
What gets me every time is the cart that has to be moved, but it's on top of an expanding/contracting puddle of wake-water; I never seem to figure out how to get it
I'm too scared to even attempt this one. Farore's Trial was bad enough, why do we have to do more?! So I'm just going to put it off for a while... A while like forever.
@jakobsgmod Sorry but I'm calling bullcrap. I followed that advice, and tried slowly walking past them, and they ALL became immediately alerted of my location, and proceeded to scream and wake the guardians. Now I've got to do it all again. Terrific.
i was almost done and i was getting the one where you pull the cart under it and the water hit me and i could find another tear so i got killed by the guardians
I have to do this next (Yes, I'm spoiling it for myself but I really don't care. I do that all the time). I am so effin' scared! Farore's Trial scared the sh*t outta me!
i ALMOST passed this one. i got all the tears and then RIGHT when i got the last one, i had the waking water under the cart i was on and the guardians were a woken. i was chased by 5 sky guardians and eventually had to run through them. i made it through, but when i was running through the sinksand to the exit, a ground guardian spotted me and i had little stamina. i was an idiot and started dashing. i ALMOST made it to the exit, but i ran out of stamina and was hit by the guardian's mace.
I.guess I should also.mention that when I was doing this first try I was looking for tears and didn't see the one in front of me. Also I was so busy watching out for flying guardians the club one hit me
seem like everyones scared i tho i was the only one...at least i am not the only scared one in here......the farore took me 2 tries but the nayru.....there is quick sand and i hate it....
yat i just passed this one....u know when the tear is one the tree.....well this fucking ghost discovered me......and i barely made it with this floating guardian who parrantly the tear fell on his feet...it just grabbed it like heck
