Welcome back to my channel!! :) My name is Amber & I am a first year fifth grade teacher. Come and lesson plan a week of math with me!

You have given me great inspiration for going into the new year for planning! This is very much how I love to plan and envision myself planning especially bc I only teach math and science. At my district we have to submit lesson plans but they are not picky about the format we use and my goal now is to recreate mine like yours! Is there a better way to see yours?

Hi , Just came through your video ,very encouraging and enjoyed to watch . I am going to start 5th grade 1st time teaching, if u let me know more material for week study plan guide or how to organize lessons . Any help would be great,will make me calm .

Hey Amber. I liked your video, it was very informative. I'm a first year 5th grade teacher. Do you have any suggestions for what I will need as far as storage, furniture, and teaching aids? I feel like I'm in over my head. Thanks!

Hi!! So excited for you as you enter your first year of teaching, you’re going to do great! I would suggest checking out my classroom tour video to see the various types of furniture and storage I utilized in my classroom this past year. My personal must-haves would be my 10-drawer rolling cart for my lesson plans and other files/grading, my teacher toolbox, and smaller tubs to hold items students can have access to like pencils, markers, scissors, etc. I would also recommend talking to your principal/school to see what type of furniture they provide such as bookshelves, round tables, desks, chairs, etc. to see what you may already have! If you have any other questions, I’d be happy to help in anyway I can!! Don’t stress, it’ll all come together and you’ll do amazing! 😊

@@amberallaboutlearning Thanks! I will check out your classroom tour video. The school is refinishing all the floors, so when I saw my room, all the furniture was stacked in the hallway, lol. It will be done after the 4th and I will be able to get a better idea of what I have.
