[Learning] Is this polyamory or she is just a NARC jerk?
I have been having this problem with my wife and I want to know your opinion. I had been married for 10 years with no kids (her decision). 3 years ago she cheated on me. 3 months after dday she decided that I was too important for het to let me go and ended her affair and we rebuilt our marriage.
I have just discovered a new affair I have been battling with her every since. She doesn't wants the affair to end. Her excuse is that she is this way she feels she is wired different and that I should accept her.
That she is free that I must appreciate and alwsys enjoy when she wants to be with me. But that she can be free to go see her lover. I am trying to understand her. so I started to learn about non monogamy. I may be a fool but I want to save my marriage. I talked to her about an open marriage but she went nuts. Yelling to me that I only want to cheat on her with her consent. So she didn't accept.
There are multiple aspects to this story. First she always said she hated cheaters that having more than one love was not normal that she was 100 % percent to monogamy. Due to my parents marriage falling apart for an affair on my teenage years I decided I wanted to stay with the woman I choose forever. So I was completely into this marriage. Her affair is with a married man with children. His wife found about the affair too and he kicked her out of his house so he can be free to have his affair.
My wife doesn't wants to end the relationship with me rather she just wants me to let her be.

Meaningless and shallow small talk on trendy topics, mostly keeping on the safe opinion side of the trend keeps them happy and at ease. They don't like it if they feel unintelligent and can't give 'input' (talking points) to a topic discussion where they basically shut up and shut down because they have no worthy input and they feel this.

I stopped approaching girls a few years ago because I had no success at all and I decided to focus on my career and improving myself in other dimensions. Now I have a good career with a pretty fat paycheck, I got very fit physically from working out and left my friends from university so far behind intellectually that I can hardly relate to them anymore because they have no idea wtf I'm talking about. Now I'm 27 without any experience with women at all.

Exactly, people seem to think success = being successful with women. Alot of older guys get played constantly by young attractive women because they have no real experience with them.There are plenty of dating coaches that can account for that. They've said many older men with booming careers have little to no social experience with women and don't necessarily know what to do. Sometimes you need to fail to succeed with the things you want women are no exception.

And I feel like the PUA community shames men if they don't enjoy it/try hard enough/get results. They're not really honest about the reality of cold approaching. It's very difficult, kind of unnatural and results are irregular at best. Still, a positive thing to force yourself to do for character growth though.

Whoa... Please do not advise men to settle down with a smoked and poked, stalled out 30 something. There is a reason the divorce rate is so high, mate. Such women are incapable of pair bonding, and in a few short years, they are very likely to see you as a boat anchor, and cast you off.

Big tips - 1: Give them time to talk, 2 - slow it down a bit on your side don't get antsy, 3 - Understand you might just get brutally shot down but also understand that you'll probably never see the girl again and if you see her a lot know that it wouldn't go anywhere anyways unless you try, 4 - Know that it's something to get used to, nobody has ever walked up to the hottest girl on the planet and said all the right words their first time around. Go out there, fail, analyze, and adjust your approach. Once you do it a few times you understand it's all a game 5 - Even if you get their number or snap or whatever, your work has just begun 6 - Be polite about things but act like you're the one she needs to impress. Say things like " I gotta go in a min" or " I don't have a ton of time but"... 7 - compliments go a long way but don't overdo that shit, keep it to the beginning and then don't really mention it too much again, or alternatively don't directly call her pretty but still make it clear why you're talking to her. Don't make her wait. 8 - LISTEN to what they say. It's absolutely imperative that you hear the words coming out of their mouth instead on focusing so hard on what you're gonna say next. It's how you make jokes, it's how you make conversation. You might get her number fast but shell never talk to you again if the experience isn't memorable, so just be yourself and listen and know that she's pretty, not a fucking goddess so treat her like a person not a queen and show that you're not on her level, she's on yours.

To my experience there is also s correlation between the number of tattoos and the level of past damage. If you have to smoke everyday, in other words addicted, that just signals low self control, ignorance, and is a negative in men & women.

Your comment about the yoga instructor was spot on. I used to bartender years ago and by virtue of working with so many women and having lots of female patrons I always had a girl or two on the go. I’m slightly better than average in the looks department but don’t fall into the 20% category. It didn’t matter at that time because I was an alpha in that setting (management and bartender) so it came easily. Fast forward 10 plus years and I’m in the corporate world trying meet and date girls like everyone else. The success rate is abysmal at time given that I’m now in my 40’s and don’t have an interest in 20 year old girls other than just for a night of fun. Long story short...I can completely attest to Alexander’s comment.

Take classes in couple dancing is great way to meet women. I was shy with women before and now realise I only dated dancers since I started, since they are usually in great shape and higher quality women.

@@freddycalipari4242 Before pandemic: for some dance styles you can join solo and you rotate in class and dance 1-2 minutes with a person before rotating to the next one. Great practice to say hello and say few sentences. When you go to a social dance, women will also approach you and ask for a dance, so even if you are shy, you will talk to women.

I lead a successful life, I have hobbies and I'm happy being single. The problem is that my hobbies and what I do for a living are very male-dominated. The best way for me to sleep with women is through cold approach. I also love the fact that it's pro-active and not reactive.

@@overpower1000 Hi, I actually met a few amazing women using cold approach. I usually approach women in the street. Tell them they are cute, ask them what they are up to and if they want to go to grab a coffee. If not, I'll take their phone number and schedule a date. Rejection, ghosting and flaking are going to be the bulk of your interactions tho. It's a number's game.

The Last Part I absolutely agree. Build a frame of authority in the area you are most familiar with. Like the Yoga instructor. It's not necessary to try to shit with women about yourself. Just being competent and do what you do. Always keep in mind, your status is higher and act accordingly

I've approached hundreds of women in my life before I got in a relationship and I can say that out of this list, the most important point is about location. It also depends a lot on the culture of the location and your race within that culture. A white guy in Thailand, even a mediocre looking one will have an 80% success rate. Whereas a decent looking guy in London would get a 5% or less success rate.

@@crikxouba how do you know I'm not in the 20%? ;) Just kidding. I know what you mean. I live in a city full of students and like 2/3 of them are girls. I think I'm even around the 30% more attractive guys, I'm in med school, I'm quite athletic, I dress and groom myself carefully, do a lot of activities, have some money, but still I find myself having to invest a crazy amount of time and effort- even playing my doctor card on tinder doesn't help. Meanwhile I know a few guys who are approached by girls and asked out almost all the time. I'm not even looked at in the streets. And the craziest part is: The girls aren't even that pretty, they are very masculine here, most of them are chubby and boring. So do you think London isn't different from any other western city then? I was actually thinking of relocating there, as friends told me about the great girls there :D

I cold approached around 230 women in the past 3 years, and boy I can tell you it's hard work. I got around 15-20 numbers, about 5 of those were fake, some of those were real but I got ignored after a few texts, and I got 3 real ones that turned into real dates. but I got laid with none of them (one was a 300lb landwhale). Also in the video number 7,9 and 10 are true.

If she is far below your standards and someone you would not want to be seen with in public do not approach. If you get rejected make her "worth" it, not by a 300lbs land whale. Stay up brother!

I don’t remember ever “cold approaching” a woman in my life, yet after age 24, it didn’t seem to matter. In retrospect, I attribute whatever little success I had to my self improvement. Making a life for one’s self and keeping in shape is the most satisfying, and women see that and are drawn by it.

~9:00 I've known plenty of girls in their 30s or so who happily sleep around - often with far younger boys. This is not to say that they're never seeking relationships, but that they are perhaps less hung up than they used to be, or that it's just so easy due to their experience and initiative - especially if they're not fussed about shy boys etc. Mostly they're very experienced, but there are also girls who were more shy or romantic and are now more confident or jaded.

After my divorce and 4 years of avoiding women in my age group, I started to carry a notebook and approached women that were by themselves, in my age group, and asked them a simple question. I told them I was doing research for a book and wanted to know if they could discuss their communication with men in their life. In most cases, after 10 minutes, I was in a heart to heart discussion with them. It was powerful. Had to stop when I started dating one of the women I approached that way.

well 1 on 15 is a great result, almost unbelievable. if you take into account: all the women who are engaged and don't cheat, let's say 1/3, all the women who simply don't like you, let's say 1/4, all the women who don't trust strangers and never will, let's say 1/4, all the women who are too shy or have mental issues, let's say 1/10, all the women who are too young or too old, let's say 1/5, and so on. there are so many filters, that having a success rate of 1 on 40 would be a good result indeed. people who claim they have a success rate of 1 on 10 or better are bullshitters. that's not realistic and I speak based on experience.

@Moan 1 in 10 is simply not realistic, I speak for experience. of course I am speaking from a statistical standpoint. even 100% is possible, if you approach 2 women and you have a stroke of luck; but it's not possible on a consistent basis. there are so many factors at play... just consider women who are engaged or in a relationship, you already have to take away 30-40% of the women you approach, and this is only one of the main reasons women reject a man.

1 in 15 is insanely good. Of course it would have been better if he specified whether it was daygame or in the club. I guess during the day you would get the lowest ratio. I think that if it is daygame, then he maxed out his chances. It is statistically impossible to get better than that, I guess. For me it's like one in hundred during the day, and I don't do nights. But I am half Asian and firkin balding, so I have to put in 7 times the effort than this guy. By the way, I don't do it anymore on a regular basis. I just mind my business, and if I happen to cross paths with somebody I like, I talk to her.

You must be very clever/a model.' Very specific compliment sometimes. But you cannot be robotic and you'll have to really want to know the girl, be interested, genuine and be able to read her cues. Gauging her interest level is the most important thing, besides coming across as a normal and friendly person. Only a small fraction of girls will be interested, you will need to let go of the majority after one or two sentences. Practice, learn from your experience and repeat.

Everything you are saying about approaching is correct. I also agree with the 100 approach idea. I believe that's a good number. It gives you enough input to know whether or not it's worth it to keep going. Another benefit is that it gives you a window into feminine consciousness that most men never see. If you can make it through 100 approaches, at the end of it you'll be ready for just about any type of "social circle" situation. I noticed this with myself. I've gotten to the point where I really don't care who's judging me for the moment. I just act. That's a quality of the alpha male anyone can acquire--the ability to act on ones instincts and engage the moment. I used this today in fact. I got two seconds of an "ioi" (Indication of Interest) for a girl and I was in. It was just that quick. Men that don't approach women, never learn to catch that fleeting flicker of feminine interest the moment it occurs. The time span is so brief. It rarely lasts more than 3 seconds. Anyway, the girl reacted well, because I stepped into the moment. I saw her interest, and I wasn't afraid to risk myself. Approaching builds masculine energy, because it teaches a man that he is free to connect with his emotions in the moment. This is why women like socially confident men. Act socially confident in a gathering where there's women, and you'll immediately get some noticing signals from them. I see it all the time. Women are constantly on the look out for the man who lifts himself about the heard. Doing 100 approaches helps a man to learn how to stand alone, and for himself, in the face of new situations. And there's no hiding from her gaze once you've presented yourself. Everything is there for the woman to see. Your voice, stance, facial expressions, carriage, hand movements, and emotions are all there to be scrutinized. This is why many men just can't go through with it. They're already insecure about themselves, so being scanned over by a stranger who can easily dismiss them is just too much to bare. Yes, the 100 approach concept is very sound, and I think most men, even those in their 40's, and 50's should give it a try.

I tried to socialize for so long trying to fix all my problems but I was working without the ability to cure my problems for all that time, turns out all those problems weren't to do with me but just a lack of Vitamin D, So the confidence and carefree side of me could only be accessed when my body was working properly, yet it never would have been fixed unless I started going out more. Problem was that I spent most of my time trying to deal with those issues by fighting them in my room alone, practicing getting over it and ignoring the thoughts and trying to push myself past the lack of motivation and depression.

One key thing I feel you should have touched upon was that sometimes women look for men who are unique and themselves. It's that variety that makes them want to talk to you sometimes (given how confident you are too, of course). If you are the same chad-brodude-chunk of muscle, or pretentious pretty boy that has a personality as flat as a piece of cardboard, then she will not be interested in you most of the time. Especially if it is you approaching her.

The best way to learn to ignore rejection is to go in to sales. Between gigs in Hollywood sometimes I took crappy temp jobs like telemarketing; the job sucked, it was grueling, but you become immune to rejection and learn to not take any of it personally. I apply the same exact attitude when hitting on women, but most of the time I set up a scene where they are hitting on me. Btw - as a lifelong musician I can attest that women with tattoos are generally easier than those without, which is why I AVOID women with tats, plus I think they look extremely UGLY on women because IF a woman is beautiful then WhyTF would she cover up her beauty with tacky graffitti? It's because she has no self esteem and she's a follower (loser); you claim that women with tats are more masculine, and I agree, which is another reason I avoid them altogether because I despise masculinity in women, aka women who feel compelled to compete with men because they have low self-esteem and don't understand the power of femininity. Also political canvassing. Although not sales, it is very similar. It’s soliciting for votes, except it’s not quite soliciting; however, the folks whose doors I’ve knocked love to argue otherwise, especially those who put up ‘No soliciting’ signs. The nervousness with canvassing houses seems to be extremely similar with cold approaching women. At first, it’s daunting, you’re stuttering, you’re getting rejected like crazy, but after about 2 weeks (for me, it was about a month) the nervousness goes away, you stop stuttering, and having repeated a rendition of the given script, you start adding your own flavor to your approaches, testing to see what works and what doesn’t.

Warm approach is much better. Cold approach is really hard. If you approach 100 girls in warm approach your succuess rate can be really HIGH. The key is warm approach meaning open a women after she send you obvious choosing signals.

Dan Sanchez How often do girls give you ioi’s. I almost get them from strangers unless I approach them. I believe it is because I am Asian which makes them put me into a shy steriotype but when I cold approach then I show of confidence which breaks that and women love confidence. Warm approach might work great if many girls send obvious choosing signals but I don’t think most guys experience this. Even if you cold approach, you would still be approaching these girls too that send ioi’s before the approach.

It's rough in the dating market even if u make 6 figures, have all your finances in order, have kept yourself slim/in-shape. There are so few date-worthy women at this age. Most are financial disasters and have let themselves go physically.

Last weekend was amazing. I was and still am recovering from one of the shittiest incidents in my life. A few friends of mine took me with them to a party. And there I was. Kind of empty but enjoying the atmosphere and not giving a sh* about the many beautiful chicks there. And oh boy, women became so touchy this evening- it would have been a big chapter in the metoo-book-of-grievances if the roles were reversed. The less You care the greater the attraction, maybe I also did look great, dunno. And preselection is also in play, because as soon as you have the first one holding your arm, the next one follows for sure.

Cold approaching should only be used as a tool to enhance one's social acuity in interpersonal interactions. Furthermore, cold approach should NOT be confused with simply talking to any number of women on a given day. What mean, is... Say you're a guy that KNOWS what cues to watch for. And you happen to approach 100 women showing you signs of interest; in that case, you're doing your due diligence as a guy that has a good social IQ. But again, approaching random attractive women that in most cases don't notice you, look your way or even breathe in your vicinity...it's just not something that tends to work out, on a retention level.

They are pretty obvious if you know what to look for. Cold approaching can teach you what signs to look for when you start to see the pattern. Its not a easy game to play but the odds are better then dating apps where you have zero chance. statistically speaking every 10 girls you speak to then one of them will like you for who you are, 1 of them will be mean to you and depending on your skill you may get a few numbers rest will be nice enough to you. only 5-10% of women you speak to will be mean to you if you walk up and speak to them.

#10 is definitely true, at least in my experience. one girl i metwas a smokeshow but she told me she had been molested, everything clicked (as to why she asked me out etc) and i no longer wanted any casual relationship. I kinda felt guilty because i knew her actions were definitely a result of her past. But at the same time i wasn't going to try and "fix her" so i just let her be. Super interesting person though.

A tip for men who want to approach women more with success: Go for dance classes. Especially things like salsa, bachata, kizomba, zouk, etc. How this works: you go to a place where nearly every female is single. You learn a short routine and then you practice it in a pair. After a minute you switch a pair. So, every minute you stand in a personal space of a different women. Every time context of this is clear, safe for them and you are justified in holding her. She is receptive to you and you are a leader in this situation. It's easy to turn mistakes into jokes, etc. By default you are in a situation that a PUA needs to create artificially. This is the best way to naturally approach many women. Also this is a great hobby. If you take into account that there are always more women then men on dance parties (at least where I live), you can choose any girl you want and they will not refuse. Here the success/reject ratio is 3:1 if you are bad at it and 100:1 if you are good at it. Don't learn PUA stuff, it's a waste of time. Work on yourself and if you really want to learn to approach women (for whatever reason) just make it a hobby.

I do want to push back a little bit on this take, though I enjoyed the video. Now from my own experience and talking to men who are better in-field than myself, successfully learning pickup will get a guy able to lay approximately 5% of cold approaches, and guys who dedicate a lot of time to it can double that, or a bit more, those are about the best numbers I've seen from people I trust. The problem with the "return on investment" argument is twofold. First, it assumes that as a man you get zero utility from the interaction. I would argue that if you get absolutely zero enjoyment from talking to people unless you are getting some direct, tangible benefit, that you are more of a user of people than most women. Some of the fun has to be in the effort and experience. At the very least, most people are sensible enough to pick up (heh, pun) when a person is only talking to them to try to get something out of it and will be appropriately defensive. Second, the real benefit of cold approach is not a massive ROI - it's choice. The men in the comments of this and other videos who take the stance of looks, money and status being all there is, and also that women will approach men with those three, I'd argue haven't observed very much. Short of being famous, like a pro athlete or actor, women are simply not going to approach men regardless. If a man doesn't approach women, his only opportunities for sex are most likely to be the result of introductions from friends or coworkers. Taking on cold approach lets a man take back some of the power over selection, and I can say wholeheartedly that the knowledge that my own free will bears some impact on my sex life is a huge boost over the days when I just waited. I'll take trying to create opportunities over waiting for them to appear any day. I do think the "professionals" hype things up to a point of absurdity in order to sell a product to a vulnerable demographic. However, I've been fortunately enough to talk to a couple who were honest enough to put things like this: pickup isn't magic, its just another tool to add to the proverbial utility belt. It can be a very efficient tool if someone is willing to put in the time.

I went to a pick up artist. I approached approx about 800 women in about a year timespan. I recorded every singole approach with a hidden camera because I wanted to prove that I do approach girls and it makes no difference because I got sick and tired of people saying things like "Oh, you need to approach more" or "You just need confidence". Got quite a few dates, but none of them ended up sexual. I fell into depression. I lost my job at the time due to depression. I went to go see a psychologist who was female and accused me of "trying to play games on women and sleep with them". I told my pick up artist that pick up was fake and that I needed to be a fake person to attract women because all it was, was me playing hard to get with the women and acting like I had thousands of options with women. I was told I had to challenge all the girls I talked to which I found the whole process fake. I ended up landing a job in Asia where I don't have a problem meeting women, at a 6 figure income and I thought I had the whole world until Coronavirus came along and I had to quit my job overseas and come back to dreaded Australia because governments decided it was OK to stop flying airplanes and lock countries up and I was feared that I would become stranded and lose my job (Since it wasn't an ideal industry to be in during covid). Now i'm starting a business and my plan is to work remotely from asia digital nomad style once the coronavirus pandemic is over.

Alexander you are very honest and realistic . I'm in my early seventies but spends time in the gym, so I look more like fifty. I am a leader and yes women come into my world and being married i am confident . where were you fifty years ago when I needed you? I wouldn't have had to work so hard.I will refer you to my grand sons.

Guys who are attractive will do well with cold approach and have much higher success rates with women. The flaw does not lie with "cold approaching" The flaw lies with men who do not improve their looks as much as possible. Of course there will be some men who maximize their looks but won't hit a baseline level of attractiveness with women, and unfortunately for those guys they must learn to endure rejection. Yoga instructor will only meet 30 - 50 women on a consistent 3 month basis, of those 30-50 women, 10 might be attractive, of those 10 attractive women 4 or 5 of them might be single. Now imagine cold approaching 3 women you are extremely attracted to everyday for 3 months. 3 X 90 = 270 attractive women you have talked to. COLD APPROACH IS KING !! LOOKS ARE KINGS !! improve your looks.

@@ScorpionSuerte I only have sex with women I'm in a relationship with. I am single as of right now and currently have 5 women that I hook up with on a consistent basis. I plan on reducing that number to 2 or 3 because my body cannot produce enough sperm to feed multiple women every single day.

I never really cold approached women because something in my unconscious told me that it's not the way it works. All women I had a relationship with came from a friendship. Not a particularly deep friendship, but we got to see a fair share of each other's lives. I'd never start something with someone I haven't visited at their home (a home speaks so much about you, even a single room does) and they haven't met me at my home. Visiting each other for all of my school time was the definition of who's my friends and who's someone I just know. It's still pretty much my definition, but not in the sense that it must happen, but that l'd like it to happen.
