I do appreciate that the hookshot does take care not to easily be exploitable, and yet from what I can tell, if you master it you can still pull off some nice advanced techniques just by getting the hang of how to swing yourself around. I can imagine that used properly, there might be some pretty wild speedrunning skips with it. Mastery of movement does pay off! The atmosphere is definitely very strong in this game throughout. I definitely have to say, it's a pretty stellar soundtrack, really sets the mood for each area. The echoing music-box like sound for the caves just adds a great tone of mystery. I love it.

Oh yes you are 100% correct on the hookshot having the potential of bypassing some of the game's designs. We may even explore some of its atypical uses later in the LP as well! The wild swings you can achieve from proper time is quite satisfying :) For a simplistic graphic style, the mood is set perfectly in each area and yes the soundtrack is simply superb. Glad to you hear you are enjoying the game!

This game looks like a lot of fun. I very much like Metroid(Vania) type games and this, with the good music, smooth controls and pixelated graphics is a great combination. Very cool choice for a LP.

I hope you dont vanish again after this LP is complete as I really enjoy your work, Ive been a subscriber for quite a long time now and would love to see some more of your projects in the future not sure what else you might have planned if anything but keep up the good work its great to see you again.

Hey cain abyss, thanks for the comment. It's not that I vanished per say but just had to deal with significant life changes which certainly took priority over LPing. When the passion strikes, I'll always have the potential of making more projects it just really depends on many factors. Good to see familiar people around!
