Also known as the Tsukihime Remake. In my time on this channel we went from "it's not real" to "oh, it's real" to "oh it's out" and now it's "OH IT'S OFFICIALLY IN ENGLISH"
While some of this may be similar to my original Tsukihime playthrough (which you can watch here: • Tsukihime + Plus Disk ... , there are certainly still surprises for us to find.
Let's once again trace the light of the moon and Spot White Women.

fun fact: official remake translation came out like a day after i completed fan translation. also, remake became my first introduction to tsukihime, and hell, i don't regret it

Side note, when Shikiller here mentions he’s bad at word games he specifically means he doesn’t like Shiritori, or word chain. He dislikes it so much it’s among his dislikes in his Material Profile.

small spoilers for everyone who hasn't read original tsukihime 1:08:08 the fact that ciel specifically chose to alter people's memory to view her in this exact way is actually a really underrated piece of charaterisaition like she could have just chosen to have people view her as just a regular 3rd year but instead she chosen to make them see her in a somewhat refered light

if you really wanna see the lines that got ignored because of the creator credits, once the flowchart unlocks (when you reach Day 1) you can use the flowchart to enter the "IN Engine" version of the opening where all the lines have text, instead of the initial launch version which is a hard subbed video, but you arent allowed back to that scene from ingame, it needs to be from the gallery version of the flowchart dunno if they changed it in the eng release but original release of the Remake had a 100 save slot limit (and more than 100 choices in the vn). Also all new saves jump to the top of the list even if you overwrite old ones. Then again the flow-chart handles scene jumping, so the save slots can be used to save mid-scenes for replaying specific dialogue 1:07:28 the tinnitus noise causes brainwashing

I second this! It’s still a short scene so shouldn’t take up your time much but it’s probably best ya just get that extra dialogue.

Miracles sometimes happen, even if right now it's half the miracle. Hopefully the wait for the second part won't take more than a decade! It might just be the nostalgia plus knowing Aoko better from Mahoyo, but this prologue felt so much more powerful here than in the original, both in the visuals and the writing. Though it's also really funny how the first CG feels like a very intentional reference to the iconic Shirou meeting Saber CG, especially when the original was very different. A shame that Type Lumina spoils quite a few new things, including a big character spoiler, but I'm still looking forward to this!

Enjoy TM's Magnum Opus and all the new elements set up for its continuation. Really is the full brunt of TM's capabilities honed over the years as they've said. They really went all out on production with mind boggling number of CGs, variations, music, amazing va and so on. They really capitalize on Shiki's unique potential as the PoV with all the colors and variations on his vision thanks to his abilities. Shiki's a really amazing protagonist. Took me several reads to really appreciate his depth and the development of his story. The relationships with the heroines are all so special and unique, the dynamic with the antagonists are so cleverly laid out. How he just exists and interacts with the world in a way only he can understand, it shaping his outlook and the joy of seeing how he could end up any which way.

Perhaps Ciel holds her hands in that position because she's a nun or at least spent time around people of the Church.... Is she a nun actually? Was Ciel even religious or did she just work for the burial agency? Anyway what I'm saying is that it could be a habit formed from growing up in that environment. I guess you could call it a nun's habit.

I don't think you need to worry about the stream guidelines. From what I've heard from fans they don't really enforce it.

Tsuki Remake, it's finally here. Ngl I am a bit worried considering how I really didn't vibe with some content in the original but I've heard good things from everyone here so I'm hoping this will win me over. Plus Mahayo remake was so stellar I think it's more than possible that I won't have issues like I did in the OG.

In the starting Prologue, why did the window CG change? It used to be a stacked double window but it changed into a different one, and the curtain colors are different too.

There is a theory that the hospital where Shiki first woke up and the hospital where he met Aoko are two different places. He may have been so traumatized by the incident that occurred at the hospital where he first awoke that he has lost the memory of it. By the way, there is a scene early in the game in which Shiki briefly recalls a mysterious abandoned hospital and dead patients, which seems to be the basis for this theory.

Even after watching the video, it still doesn't quite feel real. I probably won't be commenting on everything the way I did for the original, but from what I hear they improved I apparently I have a lot to look forward to. When Aoko says she could've killed Shiki, she means she could've sent him to the Marvel 2 character select, which I also can't believe is real again. We also see Shiki's brain turn to mush at seeing a white woman even if it's not *the* White Woman Spotted.
