You’re the first person that went with the 15 pro instead of the 15 pro max that I have come across online. I agree with you, the factor is ideal. Don’t understand why they started giving the customers a choice for the last few years and this year they revert back to the IPhone 7/8 + days…kind of disappointing…
The telephoto sensor isn’t the same on the pro and pro max. It’s a new 25% larger sensor on the pro max with 100% Focus Pixels. The sensor on the 15 is not the same as the sensor in the 14 Pro.
Wish the regular 15 pro had the 5x lens too. I go to a lot of concerts and while I try not to have my phone out constantly, I do like to snap a couple photos and Snapchat clips. Really could use that added zoom in that scenario. Not looking forward to the size/weight of it. It’s heavier/larger than my current xs max… which is already too big & heavy but I’ve adapted to it. I do plan to order the 15 pro max. Not super impressed with what it offers over a regular 15, but i’m desperate for better low light photos, front cam, and more zoom that I’m going to shell out the $$ and hope I don’t regret the size/weight too badly.
Since the zoom range goes through 2x directly to 5x on the iPhone 15 pro max, that means the 3x zoom in the 15 pro max is digital zoom? And therefore it will lose some quality?
