Rory swann laaser drill with Karax's architect of war. the Energizer can haste the laser and also he can cast chrono boost on lazer drill too. That lazer completly melted the Train mission just auto attacking. Try it. its funny.
I haven't watched it, so I leave a comment for now. Thank you for making a Swann video. I spend most of my co-op life with Swann only. I will comment again when I finished watching this video.
I think that heavy weapons specialist is a lot better than you give it credit for. It's enabled me to focus more on macro in the early game, just because the drill itself is more powerful. Perhaps this is just because I underuse abilities, but I've found HWS pretty helpful
Is it just me or the new prestige system is a little underwhelming? From what I've read most disadvantages don't make it worth taking them for the advantages, not to mention taking into account the effort of leveling that.
You are not wrong. there are some "builds" that are outright locked behind their OWN LEVEL UPS! You can't repair buildings as karax until level 7, and when you consider that instant cannons are not until 11, you are a fucking useless karax. Raynor afterburners is also LOCKED BEHIND LEVELS! so you don't even get that as well! Seems like they had a good idea.... but they didn't consider the broken path they created to get there. Almost as if they only tested at level 15....
@@nhagan001 couldn't have said it better myself. Honestly I will just do Dehaka brother build cuz it just sounds interesting and fun and it's one of the few that has a balanced advantage vs disadvantage imo.
@@nt.hunter Not all of them are bad. Some Prestiges are damn good. Like Raynor's first. It's bloody broken. Every unit in your group a tank. Even your marines get so beefed up it's ridiculous. I mean a 100+ Mineral cost unit has over 400 HP and 6 armor. That's ridiculous. Then there's Artanis who can just storm everything into oblivion now.
@@Ricardo_Rick but that is the thing, WHY would you want to do it that way? If the idea was just to be 15 and do it that way... just give it to the people that are 15 with the commander. Imagine an RPG where leveling with a specific specialization of Mage is so bad you must be max level to be competent. "oh don't be a Frost mage, get all the gear with Fire and then come back to Frost". That is just bad RPG design. The leveling process of a commander is meant to be the learning ground: here is how it plays, here is what you unlock, now combine it all as you level up and learn. If you are saying we should be leveling up 3 times with the standard Raynor.... why? Have us do it once and be done with it.
you don't take the drop bot mastery for a turret build? they help you push to get a footing and than you can build your OP turret. I don't know perso I would go for that over a buff to a nuke whit like 10 year cooldown. But that just me.
Did you upgrade the Drill completely in Heavy Weapons Specialist? I saw you upgraded it once, which goes from 20 -> 30 damage per second, but the last rank is 50 dps.
as a newb "wow swann seems pretty hard, obv you have to change ur build vs what ur fighting and then moving around the map is cumbersome" after watching this: oh, you just make turrets
Well.... you ain't wrong. The only feeling that is worse is having to level up with these prestieges. you feel like you are on crutches from the start, and some of your level ups are even completely useless for commanders. Karax is practically dead on his cannon build until level 11. Who wants to wait an entire minute for Karax to set up cannons? Hell he can't even repair his own structures until level 7! And this is just one of many, many points you can do for many commanders.
