Just ordered this tv and I’m super excited, I’ve been living under a rock as my current tv is 13 years old and I’ve never experienced 4K gaming or anything like that, I’m so looking forward to it

Got mine yesterday!! Once I got it all figured out and set up, Fucking awesome!! I can’t believe how good all my games and everything look!! I don’t even have Gsync working yet but the 120hz is fantastic. Can’t wait to upgrade my video card to take full advantage of this tv. Great video btw.

Got this one at home since one week and just can say it blew my mind, exchanged my uwqhd 144 now. Have been lucky with the panel lottery and don‘t suffer from any crushed blacks in gsync so far. I also have an zowie 240 hz dyac just for overwatch but I have to say 4K at 120 hz with this tv comes really close but with out the overshoot the zowie has. You just have to be responsible but the with hdr gaming and this response time this is really something else with this ppi. Love the channel, let‘s push this to 200k

Hey Teo! I was dreadfully waiting for you to review this TV for while know. I've been holding off to get a good quality PC monitor for almost 2 years now but all the high quality monitors are just as expensive as some high quality TVs so when i heard in CES that LG bringing out 48 inch gaming OLED monitor/TV i was all-in. I already got the C8 but that's 60hz, but this 120hz 4K is the perfect sweet spot. I know we don't have HDMI 2.1 graphic cards yet till the next coming months, so I would like you to give us some more updates/review of the TV performs when they become available. I refuse to game on cinematic HDR games with ray tracing till I get both that 48-inch CX 120hz and a GPU that can push it with ezz. Desperately waiting to upgrade my 1080ti to new 3080ti/3090 card. I must experience HDR + Ray Tracing at its best. Keep safe and Good job mate.

Thanks for the detailed overview! I was looking for months for a pro statement to the Colour Temperatur in Game Mode!!! Still, i have two questions: 1) is "Sharpness 0" also the neutral Setting on the C9 for Movie und Game Modes? 2) Why leave "Colour at 55"? Isn't this oversaturation? Does it add Input Lag? Thanks for this video Vincent. You look a little unwell. I hope you're OK. If you've got itchy or "pink" eye and need to get rid of it fast, naturally - a salt water solution works for me every time. Chill it and use every 2 hours for a day, bathing the eyes.

If there was a 43" CX, I would absolutely buy it, that's about the biggest I can have in my room.

I liked this video a lot because you focused on the general settings for video games. I would like to see another video that focuses on general picture settings for watching physical disk movies , in either Bluray (1080p non-HD) format or UHD 4K format. Thus the video would help a CX owner to understand how to best set picture settings for watching physical media-based movies.

i didn't even know you could pull the box when i got my b9. i just manned up and pulled the whole tv from the top of the box and put it in a sofa, all on my own. it was awful but no damage was done so happy ending. been loving the tv ever since

Never use a power screw driver... do you know how long it takes to get those screws off after someone strips them? I have to drill a flat head pattern in them or just drill them out completely and waste the stand when mounting. Just FYI. Also my 65 CX comes July 6

G Sync and Free Sync testing would be great. I know there's no HDMI 2.1 GPUs out there but perhaps playing at 2560x1440@120hz SDR/HDR can give us an idea how the TV's gaming features are executed on a PC. Thanks.

I want to see a head to head between vizio 50" m7 h1 2020 model, and cx lg 48" .. diff ends of price/quality spectrum, but about the same size, and both next gen capable at diff tiers, ie 60hz and 120hz.. but i just want to see how they compare strictly from a visual standpoint.. motion, lag, blooming, banding.. color, clarity.. etc.. great videos btw.. i like the lil jokes u throw in lol.. that one night in bangkok.. that one i remembered lol.. never watched so many tv review videos in my life, but i can say yours are on point after watching diff sources of info. You and stop the fomo are on point, but u got better subtle dirty humor lol.. all the best, peace

Next time, please explain and demonstrate TV settings specifically for Netflix viewing, and settings for low-light or high-darkness scenes. Vincent, I've heard there's a problem that when VRR is enabled on the C9 and CX, black levels raise consistently. For someone who wants this primarily for deep black VRR gaming, that's a deal breaker. Would love to hear your take, and/or if the future firmware update is expected to tackle that problem.

Would love to see LG bring out a 32 inch version of this, even at 2k resolution would suffice for me. As the most premium 32-inch out there currently is only one model, mainly belonging to Samsung's QLED lineup, and that's expensive as hell for a 32-inch. Seriously the 32 inch market is severely lacking in quality and is in need for competition. An 32-inch C-Series OLED from LG, would be a dream come true for people like me with small rooms. Love the video as always Theo!

Its the one I was waiting for! I got availability notifications in everywhere so I can buy one ASAP. This will be hooked up to my PC (i'll keep my 27" dell hooked up too so I can use both/so i can use a regular LCD for more static content like web sites)

Hello, in the U.S we don’t have these for sale yet (from what I see). Can you test the hdr capabilities compared to the c9 I know that c9 has more firmware updates so the hdr is a bit better on there but I would like to see if there has been any changes. Also, you mentioned that you don’t have an Nvidia card so you can test the 120hz mode but can you possibly test the Xbox one x with 120hz mode enabled with/without OLED motion pro? I would love to see the differences in input lag/visuals

There's a few attempts at combining VRR and BFI (like the ASUS TUF monitors: ELMB-sync it's called) but it's still very early and far from perfect. It works 'okay-ish' for content around 100-120 fps, but if fluctuations become too strong, the flickering and inconsistent brightness become very irritating. In the end that's the dream though... OLED Blacks, QLED brightness, CRT-like motion resolution... and without burn in risk... ah... one can dream... one can dream....

Do you recommend this tv as a the ultimate grading moniitor for HDR content.. Surely oled will render the contrast and the black the best but eventually will lack of brightness.. Vince, you've got me curious with the bit rate streaming and i see that netflix does throttle and right now playing in california its around 11mb/s for a 4k movie. For reference I played a blu ray movie and its around 23-25mb/s.

Please also talk about the experience when using this TV as a PC monitor when NOT playing games. What's it like when working on the desktop? What's the minimum distance you need from the screen to be able to comfortably use it in this scenario? I really want an OLED monitor, this is the closest option currently, but it's still too big I think and there may be other issues. Looking forward to the follow up video!

Hi Vincent thanks for all your videos I enjoy watching, I have a question do you recommend 0 or 10 for sharpness on lg OLED TVs models c8-cx there has been much debate on this and wondering what your take on it is? also on the older lg c8 model color temperature in game mode is on a scale by default at c30 obviously too cold, I have mine set to W40 is that equivalent to Warm2 setting?

I actually managed to get a PS5 and an LG CX OLED, I’ve played with the settings and tried some various tips from your channel primarily. Have you had a chance to test out that OLED Motion Pro setting? It is hard to gauge at times if motion is greatly improved or not with it. Do you think with the PS5 it is even necessary to turn any level of it on and if so what level maybe? Anyone else with any thoughts on this, please feel free to jump in.

How good would this tv be for doing colour grading? I hope you'd be able to mention it on the review.

Been told the 48 is the better size regarding game performance, as I've been talked down from 65. But looking for the happy medium with 55 unless there's massive lag input difference etc
