Anthony Bridges has taken his ex-wife, Christina, to court because his child informed him that Christina had recently come into some money. Christina had taken a loan out against her life insurance policy, but is it deemed income or not?
I have a new found respect for single fathers! I had no idea so many mothers were on child support, making so much money and not wanting to take care of their child. Excuse my ignorance 😩
I love how she says that she’s an interior designer and that her purses have to match with her outfit but when she stood up that bright yellow bag did not match with those Goodwill pants
I’ve never thought I would hear a judge being fair toward the men.. especially in Texas.. as a single father these episodes hit home in so many ways.. keep up the good work and thank you for being so fair and not just taking the women’s word and actually asking great questions to get to the bottom of the actual situation at hand…
Not all of them ,but a great portion of them do. Which is great any judge of any race gender sexuality religion/atheist ect that doesn't do anything but follow the letter of the law is great, but more importantly when they focus on the spirit of the law which is even harder to do.
As a man paying child support I'm very aware of my responsibilities., but it's about damn time that women who have kids also are responsible for paying to help support, raise, and caring for these our children. Thank God for a judge like you!!!!!!!! God Bless you!!!!
Extremely important lesson here ladies and gentlemen! Do not play games with the judge when you go to court for child support. They will hit you where it hurts every time! Great tutorial video!!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾!!!
After binge watching a bunch of these I finally read the information at the end of the videos. I had no idea these episodes were make up and the participants were actors! I'm disappointed, but I'm still gonna watch 😆
Oh my lord. I love how Judge Vonda doesn't put up with any of this womens attitude at all. I wish we had lawyers and politicians who are as competent as Judge Vonda here in Australia. Maybe my dead beat dad might have actually been caught out for not paying his child support. Things like this have a real effect and I love how no matter what Judge Vonda holds people accountable no matter the circumstances. Truely a professional in her field and a ture inspiration.
@@youtubeuser1432 You're entire post makes no sense, cause you did not comment anything. LOL! You are funny, it was a joke. LMAO! You are so funny, @Joseph Mccraken. Funny. LMAO!
@@sherriwilliams2147 id i remember correctly it's based off of real world court cases in Texas. however it's portrayed and draumatized for the purpose of education and entertainment lead by a real support court lawyer. if I am wrong Support Court with judge Vonda B please correct me and I will edit accordingly I don't even remember where I learned this.
@@sherriwilliams2147 no it’s not real it’s all scripted and staged and judge vonda is an attorney not a judge in real life but it’s for educational purposes with realistic cases
So true, not in all cases, but I had a friend that was worried what she was going to do after her child support stopped because she wasnt going to be able to afford her shopping trips, going to Disneyland and Universal Studios (by herself without the kids) and her trips out of state.
My hubby's X used to use his child support for drugs and demand $ for him to see her AND he bought ALL her clothes and school supplies ( and she loved in low rent housing!)
One thing I know is that Judge Vonda B. Don't play!!! I can't wait to see all the blessings God has in store for her in the future. This show needs to be on National TV because more ppl need to know about this Child Support Court.
Italian woman here. Channel popped up as suggested and i now love it! Just to me is surprising how many mothers just throw their kids away leaving them to other people, it s something here we do not have at all and seems to be common there. It breaks my heart! Also men comments are heartbreaking: all are shocked that a judge is fair and being unbiased against fathers, that is how can do and must not be a surprise! Last: judge is not only fair, she rules in a kind but strict way and it is really clear she takes care of kids and their interest with passion and love. Defending them like if she is their mother. So great!
I know it's an educational show, but I gotta say the acting is top notch. Obviously the educational part is of course educational, but I like how there's an explanation after ward to let us know why things happened the way they did. Thank you for what you do in making sure children get proper treatment from their parents.
I just now ran across this channel and I really like it. Keep up the enlightening work sister. The family court system is one of the biggest reasons why I have chosen not to produce kids right now. It's just so one sided for the most. I'd just rather to continue netting my $208,000 per year (give or take on my expenses that year) and not worry about someone trying to carve out a piece for themselves. Hell ol uncle Sam already doing a good job of that as it is. Love the show Vonda B
This makes no sense. What if you took out the loan to save your home or secure your living situation? Wouldn't increasing the child support then add more financial difficulty which could put your living situation in jeopardy? It isn't a windfall. It is a loan that has to be repaid. I am not referencing the couple in the video...only the law as stated by the judge.
I was thinking the same thing! Courts would have never found out about this because this type of loan or income isn't reported to Child Support! Now if the other parent was looking for an increase which in Texas is usually reviewed every 3 years then her bank statements and or w2 would have shown an increase for one of those year's! This is why if you are going to do this you wait after the 3 year review and then get the loan😁!
Love your cases, you are so fair, patient and you NEVER loose focus about why you are there, for the CHILD! I see cases where one of the parents try everything they can to hide from their responsibilities, and Judge Vonda is NOT having it! I absolutely admire and have great respect for you!
Oh my Heavens!!! EXACTLY like my ex wife: also Hispanic. She said to the husband “you are a liar” in Spanish This lady is really lucky that the judge didn’t get sick of her disrespectful attitude
Tbh this puts reality in perspective cuz u mostly hear about men not paying and being deadbeats but in reality so many women are very neglectful toward their children or use them as pawns. This is refreshing to see how many men step up and do more than their part
Mothers like this discuss me. Can’t even call her a mother if she’s taking out loans to buy damn purses rather than taking of their child… respect to the father! How dare this women for trying to call him and her son a liar!!! Good job to the judge giving what is fair!!!
Great show judge! I love how you handle all these dead beat moms and dads! I wish I would’ve taken my mom and dad to support court when I was 12. They both gave me the bare minimum.
I was a couple of your shows I like him a lot I think you need to go mainstream you are now my favorite judge you're amazing and please keep up the good work I'll keep watching
Alot of woman do this thank you Vonda B, you have no idea how much I wanted to see a woman get busted for buying accessories while the man handles most if not all of the child's responsibilities again THANK YOU P.S sorry if I got your name incorrect.great vid as always.
This Woman is really special, impatiently tapping her fingernails on the table, curt replies, tsk, tsking, sighing, slamming her palm on the table and whining... “But he’s lying!”
