Lil Dicky's TV series is seriously underrated (DAVE Series Review) 

Criminally underrated.

I was not a fan of his music. Whatsoever. But i love filmmaking. And when i saw the trailer for season 1 and everyone involved I thought it could be something special. And it is. All 3 seasons so far are kinda perfect. The writing, acting, cinematography, directing, and i can go on. And the guest stars they get are great. And dont come off as pretentious. And when they are there, its for a reason. And Benny Blanco playing himself is next level. I wish he was my best friend. And GaTa playing himself. One of my favorite characters on the show. And yes, its a comedy. But theres some episodes that transcend comedy. Akin to Atlanta. In conclusion, even if you hate him as a rapper you have to give him credit as a writer, director, actor. Dude has talent. And worth watching.

Very much looking forward to season 3. Loved every minute of the show thus far, big fan of awkward, sometimes cringeworthy humor. GATA is a legit star as well.
