I'm acquainted with the concept artist who's been on this project from the start. He designed the monsters (among other things) in Amnesia The Dark Descent. He's driven a lot of the art direction here I think. Shout out to Jonas!
The voice over... is that the dude from Game Trailers? EDIT: It is! Man I only ever watched Game Trailer Reviews and I really missed them when Game Trailers went away. So good to find this channel. Great review BTW. I too had an issue with the jumps and controls here and there in Little Nightmares because of the weird perspective it has in places. I hadn't seen many reviews touch on this. SUBBED!

I can't wait for this game, I have it pre-ordered on Amazon. I've been excited for this since EZA was called GT and Little Nightmares was dubbed Hunger.
I remember the original teaser title for this game; Hunger. It had an awesome teaser trailer that made it feel like it had a Bioshock setting. I'm definitely getting this in the future.
Strong sound effects and subtle camera movements pull you into this 🌎. Locations are cluttered with items to pick up or interact with giving you space to explore. The most important element is the sense of scale ⚖️. You're a truly tiny thing in this world clambering up the sides of dressers, hiding under tables, and turning tv tuner with both hands, needing a boost to reach the door handle. It all lends to a sense of vulnerability and once you begin to encounter the grotesque inhabitants of this place your only option is to run and hide. Real sense of panic when you get spotted. Little Nightmares is a thoroughly creepy platformer with vividly disturbing imagery in a menacing world that drives you to look for an escape. Turn the lights off, volume up, and let Little Nightmares immerse you in it's environments.
Just checked this review out of interest after finishing the game for the first time, and yeah I have to say: they could've made less cuts and shown longer scenes to not make it snippets of almost every section of the game... Not ideal. That aside EZA delivered as always and I agree, I would've given it 5 stars though even though there are the mentioned precision problems.
My type of game. digital pre ordered this a while back glad to see its getting good reviews. I can play it from midnight tonight. Should be dark enough by then for a play through 👍 top work as always allies
I begged Blood to review this and bought it day one. I FINALLY played it tonight (I know) and I rage quit after 45 minutes. The depth perception and controls are awful and caused me to die far too many times where I thought I was completely safe. It makes thing worse because the long load screen is followed by redoing an entire section because of a stupid mistake because if their bad design.
im starting tomthink shorter is better. i really prefer something, spectators can enjoy as well. after finishing horizon in about 20 hours, i felt swindled for my time. too little story for too much effort.
While I do not really like the other, low-budget EZA shows, it's high quality reviews like this one (and Brandon's voice) what keeps me coming back to this channel.
The best thing about easy allies is their reviews. Everything else is underwhelming. There's no production value in any of your podcasts or other shows. You get like 40k on patreon every month. What do you spend it on?
Conrad McGoobs theres 9 guys and they live in LA. Theyre also putting money aside to save up for a studio which will also be in LA. Btw living in LA is EXPENSIVE.
